Easy as 1-2-3 and no typing needed, although you can edit the receipts and add notes. I gave it a 4 because there are room for improvements. I would love to see this app generate a report of all or selectable receipts and totaling the amount. ### 3/5 — Tips *2020-12-10, version 3.0.1* App has trouble recognizing tips for meals. There is one minor problem with the IHateReceipts app. On the settings page there is a “Guide to IHR” link and a “FAQs” link. Neither of these links work for me - nothing happens when I press them. I suppose this could be because I am not in North America. However, I downloaded the app from the US App Store and would expect these links to work. Now, I cannot log in with my previous account and it doesn’t allow me to log in with my phone either. They should add an option to log in either way or with a google account. Detail- receipt line item, category and amount. I had spent an hour comparing several different apps and ended up choosing this one after several rounds of elimination. Not only was the subscription price lower than the top three I had narrowed my list down to, but this app also had the ability to toggle the camera light on and off like a flashlight and the search filters were better than SimplyWise (it was pretty close! I did find SimplyWise a bit faster when processing the OCR data so fair trade? Lol). This app is a solid 5 Stars, HOWEVER, there were features from each of the different apps that I would like to see in this app such as: dark mode (HUGE!), a context menu if you long press on the app icon (NEAT!), and the ability to backup to iCloud for us 🍎 users :) ### 5/5 — A great ORC and item search engine! *2021-05-16, version 3.0.6* It’s not just digital your paper receipt, it also ORC the items and show you the pic of them and I start doing it since 2021 Jan 1st. I see there is an in app purchase and I would love to support it, as long as it’s less than 1.99 per month, $10-15 per year is a reasonable price. Moreover, the Amazon integration does not make sense at all since we don’t get paper receipt from online store. I would recommend to integrate an option to define if this receipt was for business or personal, it would help a lot for the self-employee like me. Email to import the receipt is a great idea but like I said earlier it would only make sense if we have the option to define it for business then we export it for reimbursement or tax purpose. And the email to import does not work as good as scanning the actual receipt, I have tested the Amazon and BP paperless email, they both pick up $0 as the total amount. ### 5/5 — ??? *2020-12-31, version 3.0.2* New to app so rating is not based on my experience . . . wanted to know if it is possible to permanently delete a receipt? ### 5/5 — GAME CHANGER! ❤️ *2020-11-13, version 3.0* Please Note: this app is 5 STARS - my rating is only a temporary attempt to get the developers attention about a possible bug - I’m unable to change any item descriptions if it gets something wrong, and so far no emails are getting picked up from my email? I can’t remember the last time that I was genuinely shocked by an app. Not joking, I’ve been looking for an app that does this for over a year - and I happened to stumble on it while checking out Neat.
