Simple readers suitable for the age recommended. However the App itself is suitable for all ages. Each story is fully customisable, allowing you to change and add all text and photos plus you can add your own books. It's so easy to use, kids can use their own artwork and photos, then write their own books independently. I will be getting so much use out of this at home and with my class at school. However, the I Like Books series had the following options-- "Read to Me", "Read byMyself", and "Autoplay". It also provided the option to point to individual words to hear them out loud. Terrific features which I don't see in I Like Stories. ### 3/5 — Good idea but has big glitch or more *2014-03-22, version 1.1* Right now when I have the "edit lock" turned on, I am still able to edit the books by raising the tool bar. (That is a big issue because that means with a quick tap of a button or two my children could edit the books too and the books are quite good as they are.) Also, the add & create your own book feature is not working even when I do unlock the edit button. Plus, then it won't let me get back to the home page, so I have to completely exit the app to get back to the home page. (It's frustrating it's not working because the create own book part is what I really wanted this app for; Other than the make & "edit" each book features, it is identical to "I like books - 37... Book set") ### 4/5 — My daughter seems to like it! *2014-04-06* I watched my 4 year old as she read the stories. Although they seemed a little disjointed from the pictures sometimes, she really likes it. She pauses after the lines are read to her, as if she's really trying hard to understand. They would be difficult to read for Kinders that I work with, but then I came across the customizable section. This would allow me to make a easy Leveled books for my readers, especially my English language learners who need a lot if vocabulary support. In the edit mode stickers, and colouring can be added, pictures can be made bigger and smaller, and that is fun. However, if pictures are moved off the page they are gone! No way to get them back!
