## What is I Say?

Master 500 high-frequency words through play! I Say helps preschoolers and early readers build the instant recognition skills they need to read with speed and confidence. By focusing on the 500 words that make up 75% of children's literature, we turn "learning to read" into a rewarding game.

HOW IT WORKS
Using the digital "Word Wall" method, children internalize words through active scanning:
• Mini-lessons: Rounds of just 3 words prevent overwhelm.
• Scan and Find: Children match audio to text, building visual discrimination.
• Success Crowns: Reward accuracy! Words found on the first try earn a crown.
• Gentle Guidance: Missed a word? The app provides instant sound-and-spelling support.

TRACK PROGRESS WITH EASE
No more guessing. After every set, parents get a summary of:
• Mastery Tracking: Progress across Dolch, Fry, and Grade-Level lists.
• Smart Review: The app flags specific words for "Extra Practice," so you know where to focus.

WHY FAMILIES LOVE IT
• Interactive Loop: Hear it, find it, tap it.
• Calm Gameplay: Engaging without being over-stimulating.
• Encourages Accuracy: Promotes careful listening over fast clicking.
• Safety First: 100% ad-free.

The simple, effective way for kids to recognize common words instantly.

### 5/5 — Playful app for sight words practice

*2019-12-10, version 2.3*

This app makes our everyday sight word practice fun. My son likes to say the words out loud and enjoys the interactive letters. Since he is able to hear the word whenever he needs help he is really been able to work on his own.
The words are organized in small sets and it is easy to keep track of words where he used help. Very focused and fun app. Totally recommended.

### 1/5 — Makes sight word practice fun

*2018-09-21, version 1.1*

This app allows the user to practice 250 sight words. The words are grouped into sets of 5. The letters fall/tumble down to the lines and form a word. The user taps the mic icon to say the word. When the user responds correctly, the letters celebrate and tumble to the bottom of the screen. Once all words are completed in the set, the letters fall asleep, float about the screen, and the user may pop them with a tap of a finger. I recommend this app because it presents sight words in small chunks and provides fun interactions.
