My 2 yr old that was a premie knows his animals after 5 mins of play!!. We were just amazed of how fast he is learning with this. Now everytime he sees my phone he says," Mooooo!! Cow!!". It is just the best thing and a great app! My son is now saying the animal names along with the sound they make. I would like to see more animals though. I can see what u were aiming for with the repeatedness. It teaches them by memory and repeating. But maybe can add a function to be able to introduce a few animals once they have mastered the basics. This would be great! I highly recommend this to anyone with a toddler. U will be in shock and in ahhhh once u see how fast they learn. For some reason though, it will act as though my son touched one if the squares and say "That's not it" when he hasn't. It happens just about every time. BUT - to the devs - please please have someone check the German grammar - we discovered a few errors with case and gender, which is anyway very difficult in German for kids to learn. It has a match game and a "pick" game, which gives you 4 choices and asks you to pick the correct one (for example, "Where is the sheep?"). This categories includes objects, colors, animals, geometric shapes, and a random feature. Within each category, you can choose which items to display. For example, in geometric shapes, you can turn off clover, cross, octagon, and pentagon if your child isn’t ready for those yet. There are a lot of customization features with this app. ### 5/5 — Great *2013-01-01, version 1.6.1* Grandson LOVED it! Highly recommended. ### 5/5 — A Great Tool for the 1 yr - 4 yr old *2011-06-09, version 1.6.0* I bought this app for my 3 yr old who does really well with matching - all the different categoris but we've been really surpised at my 1 1/2 yr old who does the learn an animal mode - with the direction of the narrator, you don't have to prompt your child, the game does it and rewards them with the sound and a "you did it, or good job or awesome" Sometimes when I am in a long line I'll even do the matching game on the small scall of shapes or objects - it is a lot of fun!
