Some ideas for next version ;-) Infra red for camera working in the dark. Recharge the batteries wirelessly at a mains point (like those vacuum robots). Make it connect to home wifi and use port forwarding to give ability to control from anywhere in the world remotely. Laser pointer or little nerf type launcher. Unfortunately we got more use out of the sticky rubber rat than the tank. It has it's own wi-fi network you connect to that is compatible to the old dial-up connections from 25 years ago. The lag is pretty extreme. You're better off buying a remote control toy from Walmart and attaching your phone to it! ### 1/5 — Must say. However it turns out the toy is in a beta or even alpha status -- you are becoming a tester for the developer after paying a fee. the iPhone controller frequently loses its wifi signals from the tank after 5-20 seconds. Turning the experience very bad! I am going to try to return the tank to the seller. The interface is similar to 'i-spy tank' app at App Store. They just changed the name to attract more buyers. I'm glad I took the chance. First off, you'll want to make sure you download this app and not the misleading "I-spy tank" app. Second, I have a iPhone 4s and was worried of the functionality and compatibility (especially because I don't even have the latest software update by far). I was completely shocked that not only did the controls function great but even the tilt motion steering worked very well. Third, the picture was surprisingly good. It's not super high def but it's not pixely or blurry. And lastly the tank itself looks cool and drives great. Even goes over small bumps and all.
