My favourite feature is the mini stack - much nicer than rotating each frame into view! A truly remarkable implementation. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. All these decades later, I LOVE this app. It brings back some great memories, but it’s mostly VERY useful. I also love how exactly it replicates the HP41c experience! The look is perfect and I smile every time I use it. The only thing missing is the awesome key feel of the originals. If you were an engineer or a scientist anytime in the late 80s or 90s a 41 CX or CV was your trusted problem solving tool. If you tried synthetic programming to get the most out of your CX you will like this app. Full access to all the expansion modules you couldn’t afford back in the day, are available. ** Note for developer please make this available for Macs running Monterey** ### 5/5 — Great! *2022-05-22, version 7.6.9* I still use a 41cv and 42cx; there has never been anything else comparable. Very pleased to find this excellent app for the phone; highly recommended! Supports all you would expect including synthetic programming assembler, ppc to name but a few. Worth every penny. Many of the features touted are really throwbacks to an earlier era of limited memory and power that are no longer valid in the iPhone/iPad era. Features like a paper tape, single line display, and a limited register are anachronisms that have no place in a fully functional scientific calculator application. In fact most of these features are no longer even features of modern physical scientific calculators. Why the developer has chosen to reach back through time to slavishly reproduce features that have long been discarded in modern scientific calculators I will never know. It goes beyond that in many ways from memory to the expanded capabilities. It has always responsive, and has never crashed. Real HP 41 CV an CXs got me through college. Yes that was a long time ago. The access to modules has allowed me to use some of the extended features that made the original so powerful. I was very much into synthetic and Forth programming on the original calculators. I still use some of the programs I wrote in college on this calculator. I wish there was a macOS version of this app. ### 5/5 — MEGA ! *2025-07-16* Diese App bringt den HP-41CX perfekt auf‘s iPhone. I use it rarely so that it doesn't wear out. First HP I owned was a model 67 and I was hooked. This 41cx app keeps the entire 41 product and accessories, and then some, in my pocket. Couldn't be more happy with the performance and user experience. Well done !! Please keep it going. It's bad enough HP has abandon these gems.
