SAY HELLO TO THE UNEXPECTED. IA generates directions on the move, so you can explore a unique route every time you walk, run or ride. No research, no planning, just go your own way. EXPLORE IA works pretty much everywhere you can get signal. You can use it from your back yard or anywhere there’s a marked path, track or road. GET STARTED We've made IA quick to set up and simple to use, so you can turn your next walk, run or ride into something much more fun almost instantly. Just set your time, hit go and you’re off. Let our randomly generated directions show you the way. ADVENTURE MODES Our adventure modes mean you can choose what works best for you. AUTO: Set the time and let the app automatically choose random route directions. MANUAL: Choose your own route as you go! Set the time and choose your own directions by tapping the direction arrow whenever you like. The app will automatically follow you. FREESTYLE: Set the time, hit go and just set off. Don’t follow the directions until you choose to get a route back. GETTING BACK Halfway through your chosen time, an alarm will sound.At this point you canchoose to continue your adventure, go back to where you started or end the adventure. When you choose to go back, the most direct route back to your start point will be displayed. If you continue, remember to choose a route back before the end of your selected time or IA will time out and you will be unable to get a route back. You can choose to continue for as long as you like when you’ve selected the route back. You don’t have to follow the route back suggested, IA will recalculate and give you an alternative route back. EARNPOINTS Every time you complete an adventure you’ll earn points, The more time you spend adventuring, the more points you will earn. The person with the highest number of points each month gets our monthly winner badge next to their name on the leaderboard. Kudos! Points reset to zero at the beginning of each month. Our points are calculated by time, not distance. You earn 1 point for every minute you are using IA. That means you can compete with anyone, whether you are walking, running or cycling. It’s a level playing field. MAPPING Our maps show footpaths, track and roads. If you stray off the path IA will try to get you back on a marked route as directly as possible. Our maps don’t show private paths, trails or roads, so keep a look out for any signs. You can check where you are at any point by tapping the map button. IA doesn’t tell you if a path is a dead end. Often dead ends have something great at the end that you would probably never see by following a pre-planned route. Check them out. SIGNAL IA works with an available network signal. If you are using IA in a remote location, always take a map with you and check it regularly so you know where you are should you lose signal. Sometimes signal unexpectedly drops off. This will mean IA will no longer be able to follow you. You can either walk back to the last point visible on the map on IA or continue until you regain signal. If you continue, IA will plot a straight line between where you lost signal to where you regained it. TIPS • IA’s audible directions work with headphones and music • Take a backup charger and a map on longer distance adventures. • Be prepared for local conditions • Tell someone know how long you’ll be.
