### 2/5 — Connection issues and not user friendly

*2026-08-23, version 7.3.2*

I’m new to this app after just completing our pool and I absolutely dislike this app. About 50% of the time the connection isn’t working to access any of the controls. Once you are inside the app there are too many options to set up a “schedule” and even that’s confusing. Not a fan.

### 2/5 — Connected?

*2026-08-21, version 7.3.2*

I like it when it’s connected, but so many times it has disconnected from the internet and I cannot control it.

### 3/5 — Web Portal

*2026-08-12, version 7.3.2*

Invest in your web portal. You can make the app do much more and be way more intuitive.

### 2/5 — Web interface broken – can’t access programming

*2026-08-09, version 7.3.2*

The real problem is the web interface. It has been unusable for at least the past two weeks, and that’s where all the programming controls are. As a result, I can’t get to or adjust my regular schedules at all.
Please fix the web interface so the programming features work again. I tried on my iPhone, my laptop, and my PC with the same exact result, no access to the web interface to change programming.

### 4/5 — Easy to use.

*2026-08-04, version 7.3.2*

Good customer support easy to program and suse

### 2/5 — Limitations

*2026-07-26, version 7.3.2*

The idea of this app is great. Be able to control functionality of your pool and it’s equipment and features from the palm of your hand. Probably missed it. Also relies on Basek limited accident a web feature that is not set up by the way of modern act would be used. If you click Web, it takes you sometimes to type a video that often times you can reach. This causes a great deal of limitation your ability to control the system of the timing instead of a lot of the features rely on that connection that is often off-line. It is so antiquated. Hopefully there will be improvement soon because this is really disappointing.

### 3/5 — It’s okay

*2026-07-23, version 7.3.2*

Sometimes it glitches and lags and doesn’t work for a while.

### 2/5 — Terrible UI

*2026-07-12, version 7.3.2*

I guess it does most of the functions it’s supposed to, but the UI is terrible.

### 1/5 — Constant connectivity issues with WiFi

*2026-07-12, version 7.3.2*

The title says it all!

### 1/5 — Respond

*2026-07-08, version 7.3.2*

Please have someone call me from your company 310 7177 122

### 3/5 — Guest/Renter Mode Needed

*2026-07-07, version 7.3.2*

IAquaLink works well but there is no guest mode or Renter mode for people to use. Guest and Renter should not have the ability to modify system settings. Developers could easily add a guest mode or give access to mode. Feels like they got a little lazy with this app

### 1/5 — Web side of the app is AWFUL

*2026-07-07, version 7.3.2*

Going on 5 years now with this system, and it’s hands down one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. The webpage side of the app freezes CONSTANTLY and gets stuck in a waiting for connection loop so you have to manually reset the thing every 5 minutes. Changing a schedule can take upwards of an hour simply because of how awful this app is. I dread having to change my schedule every summer because of it. I finally gave up after manually resetting it 5 times tonight while trying to adjust the schedule and went to bed.

### 3/5 — User interface for iAquaLink feels like it was written in 1990’s and never updated

*2026-07-06, version 7.3.2*

User interface for iAquaLink feels like it was written in 1990’s and never updated. Why are they not willing to improve it? Many functions buried in a separate ancient web interface.

Would really like a better API for Home Assistant and other Home automation systems such as HomeKit Apple Home

### 1/5 — Not intuitive

*2026-07-05, version 7.3.2*

Right out of the 70’s. Is this the best tech for pools? Yuck.

### 4/5 — Basic but reliable

*2026-07-04, version 7.3.2*

The system is generally reliable and has decent basic features. I don’t like that you have to go to a separate website that feels like it was built in the 90’s to program schedules, or how long it takes to do simple tasks there, but the daily items work well.

### 2/5 — Meh app, but it works….

*2026-07-01, version 7.3.2*

The app is just meh at best. It does work, but super clunky when making schedules and other backend stuff. The controlled are slow and the system itself goes down periodically, which is not a knock on the app, but the infrastructure behind the app. Idk….its 2026, we should have better stuff by now.

### 1/5 — Unable to use

*2026-06-29, version 7.3.2*

Says pwd requirements changed and to update the app. There is no update option with a new install. As useful as a three dollar bill.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Need major usability upgrade

*2026-08-25, version 7.3.2*

It’s so old fashioned and need to modernize UI and integration with other Smart Home platforms such as Home Assistant

### 1/5 — NEEDS UPDATED

*2026-08-23, version 7.3.2*

it is a barebones web interface. Operates slower than a snail and completely unintuitive. If you press spa it raises a banner which says when spa is on pump will be running. Then it has an ok button. It should say “SPA ON” or SPA OFF”
to release the banner.

### 1/5 — Connection

*2026-08-22, version 7.3.2*

Constantly drops connection and have to reconnect. Lights on the app do not match what the actual color is in pool. Have to cycle through them lol to find the right color.

### 1/5 — Worst app ever

*2026-08-22, version 7.3.2*

Constantly drops and won’t reconnect even after reboots, deleting app and redownloading etc. Times out constantly- only IoT product I have that consistently fails to connect or provision to my network. Ridiculous.

### 1/5 — Pool lights

*2026-08-19, version 7.3.2*

Every time the pool company puts system in service mode the pool lights never work once it is out of service mode. We have to reset the circuit breaker once a week to get the lights on. The aqua link app does not know the system is out of service mode. Frustrating when swimming in the evening.

### 1/5 — System sucks

*2026-08-17, version 7.3.2*

Ever day I have to reset and no matter what I’m locked into the pump screen only o cannot escape this nightmare of a system it’s complete junk

### 1/5 — Flakey

*2026-08-01, version 7.3.2*

Constantly goes off line. Hate it. Hard to fix. Garbage code.

### 1/5 — Connectivity

*2026-07-29, version 7.3.2*

Sometimes, it disconnects and the only way to get it back on is to turn the breaker off and then back on.

### 1/5 — Downloading

*2026-07-18, version 7.3.2*

I tried whole day just to download the app and it’s I am unable to download it

### 1/5 — Won’t save pump settings

*2026-07-18, version 7.3.2*

App won’t keep pump speed settings, sucks

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Issue fixed: Web interface broken – can’t access programming

*2026-08-13, version 7.3.2*

The real problem is the web interface. It has been unusable for at least the past two weeks, and that’s where all the programming controls are. As a result, I can’t get to or adjust my regular schedules at all.
Please fix the web interface so the programming features work again. I tried on my iPhone, my laptop, and my PC with the same exact result, no access to the web interface to change programming.

Update: Fluidra reached out to me and asked me to reset my unit. Actually that worked right away and resolved my issue. Thank you for the good advice!

Just one wish: please update the UI from the 90’s. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Aqua Link is dope

*2026-07-25, version 7.3.2*

Control your pool from your phone and impress your friends. Tell the lady at McDonald’s what the temp is. Turn on your spa while you are in France.

### 5/5 — Great pool app

*2026-06-28, version 7.3.2*

This Poole app is really good. You have full control of every pump and every waterfall you put in your pool the spa mode really good. It’s really good with heating and the jets. I really like this app. That is why I gave it five stars.🔥🔥🔥

### 5/5 — Works great

*2026-06-21, version 7.3.2*

2026-06-20:

Update—Turns out Firewalla’s ad blocker started to block prod.zodiac-io.com. Fixed it by allowing traffic here.

I stopped being able to see my setup under “My Systems” today. Updated the app and am still unable to see it. I can verify that the device is connected and sending traffic by examining my Firewalla network. I’m also unable to login to the web browser portal.

### 5/5 — Everything you’d hope for.

*2026-06-13, version 7.3.2*

Most apps try too hard to give you a lot of extra stuff you don’t need. This app simply delivers everything you do need.

### 5/5 — Game Changer!

*2026-06-07, version 7.3.2*

Moved to new home with many features, waterfall, lighting, hot tub, but had old difficult to manage remote control. Pool service upgraded me to app based but linked different options as quick links. I absolutely love it, EVERYTHING is user friendly, easy to use and customize features and monitor system. Game changer for sure!!

### 5/5 — Update

*2026-06-02, version 7.3.2*

I changed my pump schedules to correspond to power company summer peak demand times and the schedules fired without a hitch, including the off times. Very pleased this went smoothly as peak time is 6x $ as off peak. IAqualink reached out to me to offer to clear the old schedules but it appears at this will not be necessary! Thanks IAqualink!!

### 5/5 — Best Automation yet!

*2026-05-30, version 7.3.2*

Amazing!

### 5/5 — Problem

*2026-05-30, version 7.3.2*

Ever since the upgrade 2 days ago I cannot connect to aqualink 2.0

### 5/5 — Great automation

*2026-05-30, version 7.3.2*

Love the iAquaLink systems, controls the pool lights and patio. Very user friendly
