Thought I could log in and see my trip but no ability to login in on the app. No point in creating an account, functionally useless for that but it looks like booking travel on the App would would work for web based travel. Impossible to tell what’s a train and what’s a station. Not possible to buy tickets. ### 1/5 — Pointless App *2025-05-29, version 7.0.3* Despite being highlighted over a year ago, you still can’t upload your ticket, it’s just a glorified timetable app. Even if you go to retrieve your booking it brings you back to their web page to print of your now QR code ticket. Why have an app without you having ticket access within it…. It’s just a timetable. Easier just to check times with other apps. Needs updating or deleting. Removed from my phone after one minute. Pointless. ## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated) ### 4/5 — Very useful for planning *2025-09-10, version 7.0.3* This app is great! Lots of negative reviews but maybe they’re for an older version. UX is excellent and the journey planner is easy, I can save favourite stations and routes too for quick searching, and look at live maps and routes and realtime arrival times. All features that are far superior to trying to fight with Google Maps to do the same thing. It’s true that to book and pay it redirects to the site, but even there I created an account and it’s easy to complete bookings. The app doesn’t show tickets either but they’re automatically emailed with a QR code and you can save to Apple Wallet. 5 stars for convenience of features available and UX. 4 stars for completeness. ### 4/5 — Simple *2019-07-22, version 3.00.8* It’s grand, there aren’t that many lines or routes in Ireland so it’s not that complicated. Is handy for referencing time tables to have an idea of how to plan a journey. ### 2/5 — Modified schedules don’t update *2025-12-29, version 7.0.3* On a day where Irish rail know they are using a modified schedule; it would be great if the app train times reflected the schedule. Getting the dart from Sutton in to city on 29th December and the app train times are wrong by 15+ minutes.
