## What is IBF Backgammon Tournaments?

IBF Backgammon Tournaments is the app of the International Backgammon Federation (IBF). Play backgammon online, enter federation and club tournaments, and follow the games live.

Backgammon is one of the oldest board games in the world. Whether you call it nardi, narde, tavla or shesh besh, the goal is the same: roll the dice, race your checkers home and bear them off before your opponent.

TOURNAMENTS
• Official IBF tournaments and club events with regulations, entry fees, prize pools and standings
• Long and short backgammon, round-robin and knockout (Olympic) formats
• Watch live games as a spectator

GAMEPLAY
• Match timers with a time bank, so a slow move never costs you the game
• Doubling cube where the tournament format allows it
• Automatic moves, undo and quick reactions

CLUBS
• Join a club, meet its players and take part in club tournaments
• Club standings and best-club rankings

The International Backgammon Federation unites national federations, clubs and players. Learn more at https://i-bg-federation.com
