Also, A Concordance to the Septuagint and other Greek Versions of the Old Testament ( including the Apocryphal Books). Thank you so much for your hard work! Update: Since some of your updates, some of your functions don’t work. Such as, in the Greek to Hebrew and Hebrew to Greek, Dictionary of Septuagint Words, when I tap on the number it does not open. Same with in the books. When I click on something in the table of contents nothing opens. Hence I am not able to read anything. Have created a number of custom modules for my own use it is so good to have the ability to have them available on a mobile device. My only gripe is for what every reason I can’t seem to import customised Bible modules (nt ont extensions in theWord). The best app I have ever worked with! *2019-04-29, version 4.0.0* I have used a few apps with big names, but each one was lacking something I need as a pastor/preacher. On the one, you could prepare a sermon but without text formatting, making it difficult to read your notes at the pulpit without colours. On another, it would be complicated to format verse popups. iBible-Study HD now has it all. As a daily user of theWord desktop app (yes! On a Mac Book Pro!), I can now finally leave my desk and use exclusively iBible-Study HD on my travels and retrieve my work to my desktop thanks to a upload link to the cloud resources. (I think I am not allowed to mention cloud storage names...) Thank you very much for this long awaited upgrade! I warmly recommend this new version, having used the app since it was first released. They advertise you can add The Word Modules. You can add them but they never work. Maybe it us my iPad but they do not work. However, I just upgraded to the newest version and it seems really buggy. Every time I try to change tabs in a window (Bible to commentary, or dictionary to book, for example), the app shuts down and has to be restarted. I’m using iPad Air 2, iOS version 13.3 ### 2/5 — Much potential *2025-04-19, version 5.1.2* Thank God there is a “theword” compatible iPad app. Having said that, there are a lot of rough edges. The buttons need to be bigger and more uniform. Cross referencing also needs to be universal, especially with user notes. The only complaint that I have is that the app crashes, every time I you go to choose a different bible translation, which is major. It took me a while to find this app. Having tried it out, I feel that this app is an exceptionally convenient tool for Bible study. It is well designed and has most capabilities that many other apps have. The only weakness is that personal notes linked to individual verse cannot be made. ### 5/5 — La mejor, aunque con algunos bugs *2022-11-04, version 5.0.1* Definitivamente es la mejor App para el estudio de la Biblia qué hay en toda la AppStore, especialmente porque es totalmente gratis. Sólo que tiene algunos bugs, que estoy casi seguro que son más por la cuestión de que el proyecto parece abandonado y no se ha actualizado a las versiones previas del iOS, pero salvo eso y una que otra pequeña mejora que se podría hacer, sin comparación con las de paga, por ello es que la califico con las 5 estrellas. Tuve que adquirir la otra App que es muy antigua, famosa y económica debido a estos bugs que menciono, pero la verdad no tiene ni tantita comparación con IBS, al grado que me arrepentí de haber adquirido la otra, porque por sus funciones prefiero seguir utilizando IBS. Me gustó que es compatible con los módulos de TheWord, y eso la enriquece muchísimo. Ojalá los diseñadores retomaran su desarrollo, porque si arreglan esos bugs y agregan o modifican un par de cosas, sin duda que por mucho sería la mejor app de estudio bíblico de toda la AppStore. Espero esta reseña les anime a continuar con su desarrollo y a descargarla los que estén en busca de una app de estudio bíblico serio. This app has all the same things and much more. Only one thing, I think that it is nice to sign in. That way you can synchronize your iPad and iPhone. Still, a very nice Bible. It took me a long time to cross reference the NT with the OT. This Bible does it for you. I think it needs interlinear bibles to make it the worlds best free bible app. ### 5/5 — Soon to be the BEST bible program for the iPad - Period *2019-08-02, version 4.1.0* I am a dedicated user of the Windows version of TheWord. I have used: Logos, Online Bible, plus many others (on Windows) For the iPad - I’ve used many programs (from Olive Tree to free apps). Although there is a steep learning curve, anyone coming from and that uses TheWord will quickly learn that this program is on the right track. Does it have bugs: Yes Is it missing features: Yes Is it he best program for serious bible study students: Yes For those that are new, take the time to go to TheWord.net and familiarize yourself with the software. Then come back and install this and take the needed few hours to customize the app to your needs. I have 6 bibles installed, 4 dictionaries, 8 commentaries, 3 maps, 80 books and just started with my notes. You can add notes to verses, plus have your own notes on the side. This allows you to have your Regular Notes (I suggest by category) open and can study to your heart out. Just ensure you link bible verses to your bible and dictionaries and ,.... I have two panes- side by side with the left pane split into two sub-panes on top of each other. I only use the Bible on top left pane. I use all the reference linked items (dictionaries, books, commentaries, etc.) on the bottom let pane. The right pane is large and I use it for my Regular Notes. I spend most of my time in my notes. This software is in its infancy but you can see the Love, Effort and Inspiration that has allowed Sammy Seif to provide something so wondrous and wonderful for Gods people. Finally, if you are new to TheWord - this WILL overwhelm you. However, take the time, learn how the program mimics TheWord, and you will be blessed. Those that are TheWord advanced users will miss not having 6 panes - or miss that you can’t see all your bibles on the same tab - or,.... again, have patience and pray for Samy as he is truly doing something that will be around for years.
