Pitiüses Bus is the offline bus companion for the Balearic Pityusic islands — Eivissa (Ibiza) and Formentera. Built for residents and visitors alike, it works without a signal everywhere except map tiles and GPS. EVERY LINE, EVERY STOP • 17 lines covered: T1–T7 main lines, AERO1–AERO5 airport lines, and Formentera's L1, L2, L3, L5, L7. • Road-accurate route polylines that follow the actual roads. • Every bus stop on both islands plotted from authoritative coordinates. LIVE TRACKING TO YOUR STOP • Continuous GPS shows your position on the map as a pulsing dot. • A persistent strip at the bottom always shows the nearest stop's next three departures, with live "in X min" countdowns. • Walking-time estimate next to the distance — if a bus arrives before you can walk to it, the time turns red so you know to look for the next one. TAP, FOLLOW, GO • Pin a target stop so the strip stays on it as you walk, instead of swapping to whichever stop is closest. • Search every stop by name or by line code (try T3 or AERO4) sorted by distance. • Tap any stop on the map to see today's full service: next eight departures, median time between buses, and the last bus of the day for each line and direction. DAY-AWARE TIMETABLES • Automatic day-type detection — Sunday and any Balearic public holiday switch to the Sun/holiday schedule. • Pick "Today", "Tomorrow", or any weekday to plan ahead. WORKS OFFLINE • All stop locations, route geometry and timetables are bundled with the app — nothing is fetched at runtime except map tiles and GPS. • No account, no sign-up, no email required. PRIVACY YOU CAN VERIFY • Your location is processed on the device only and never leaves it. • No analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs. • No backend at all — there are no Syntherma servers receiving anything from this app. DATA SOURCES Timetables are derived from the operators' publicly available schedules (busformentera.com and alsaibiza.es). Stop coordinates are cross-checked against OpenStreetMap. Note that Ibiza times are the summer schedule; the airport lines and Platja d'en Bossa stop times are verified, while the northern Ibiza T-lines (T4–T7) carry a "~approx" badge in the app. Ses Salines (Formentera) and a few northern Ibiza coastal stops are marked "location approximate". Pitiüses Bus is an unofficial, independent companion. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the bus operators or any island authority. ## Version history (last 5 releases) ### 2.2.3 — 2026-08-18 Beaches by bus is now completely free. Every beach route -- including multi-leg trips with a transfer -- shows all its steps for everyone, no unlock needed. Ibiza Move Pro is now three things, clearly: the smart trip planner, live flights with the bus route from the airport to your door, and clubs by bus. One one-time purchase covers the whole 2026 season (2027 will be sold separately). Purchase fixes: if the store said "you already own this item", the app now recognises your purchase and unlocks straight away, and the Restore purchases button is always reachable. If you bought Pro and it did not activate, open the paywall once -- it will unlock automatically. Fresh screenshots and small map polish throughout. Walking sections stay merged into single green steps on the map. ### 2.2.1 — 2026-08-14 Clubs by bus now tells you when they are actually open. Opening hours for 21 venues, researched from each club's own published listings -- Pacha, Amnesia, UNVRS, Hi, DC-10 (Mondays and Thursdays only), Ushuaia, O Beach and more, with season-end dates so an October trip does not finish at a locked door. Where a venue's hours could not be verified we show none rather than guess. Getting home. Every night club now carries the radio taxi number for its own area, one tap to call, plus the island-wide line as a backup. The last-bus-back line is now shown for night clubs only -- a beach club closes while the buses are still running, so the warning there was just noise. Day clubs show their opening hours instead. Walking directions are easier to follow. A walk that used to arrive as three or four separate steps is now one instruction with one total time, and every walking section is drawn in green on the map, so you can see at a glance which part of the journey is on foot. Corrections: the radio taxi numbers for Santa Eularia, Sant Josep and Formentera were wrong and are now verified against the operators. Bora Bora is listed honestly -- the original closed in 2022 and the site is now Playa Soleil. ### 2.1.1 — 2026-08-10 Search in your language. 'Ibiza', 'San Antonio' and 'San Carlos' now find Eivissa, Sant Antoni and Sant Carles -- the Catalan names the buses and timetables use -- and accents are optional everywhere. Hotels. 381 hotels and apartments across both islands: search where you are staying and get its nearest bus stop and the walk in minutes, then plan straight from there. Ferries now show each operator's own logo on the leg you are booking, and Baleària and Trasmapi routes are drawn in their real brand colours on the map. Eclipse day, 12 August. The total eclipse comes with road closures across Ibiza's west coast -- but buses are exempt where cars are turned away. This update marks the closures on the map, warns on affected routes and beaches, and lists every official observation zone with its nearest stop and the last bus back after totality. All of it appears only for the day itself. Departures now ask where you are starting from (arrivals still ask where you are heading), and every place picker has a new 'Current location' row that finds your nearest served stop. Map dots now scale smoothly with zoom on both platforms, and the season runs to November. Flights. Live arrivals and departures for Ibiza airport -- and the part no flight app does: pick your flight, tell us where you are staying, and get the bus route from the terminal to your door. If your flight is delayed the plan moves with it, and we allow time for bags and passport control. Flying home, we tell you when to leave and warn you if the last useful bus will not make it. Beaches by bus. Every named beach and cove on both islands -- 94 of them -- sorted by how long they actually take to reach right now, including the walk from the stop. Each one shows the last bus back, so nobody gets stranded at Cala d'Hort at half past seven. Choose your language. Spanish, Catalan, German, French, Dutch and English were always in the app, but you got whatever your phone was set to. Now you choose, and it sticks. One menu. The buttons in the header have become a single menu, so stops, the trip planner, flights and beaches all live in one place. The date now reads properly too -- Wed 5th August 2026. Ferry companies now carry their own marks -- Baleària, Trasmapi, Formentera Lines, Aquabus and Santa Eulalia Ferry. If you are coming from an older version, this release also brings the COMPLETE Ibiza bus network -- 62 lines, up from 12 -- with official timetables, night buses and the Discobús, a trip planner rebuilt on official data, and ferry routes drawn along the real sea lanes. Timetables, the map, the beach finder and flight boards are free; Move Pro is a one-time unlock for the planner's full multi-leg routes and airport routing, and anyone who installed before Pro existed keeps it free forever. ### 1.4.2 — 2026-07-09 The trip planner is now instant — and rock solid. We rebuilt its routing engine: searches that could freeze the app now answer in milliseconds, for any pair of stops on either island, at any hour. Planning is easier too: your nearest stop is pre-filled as the starting point, the stop picker sorts by distance, one tap swaps origin and destination, and Now / +30 min / calendar chips set the departure time. ### 1.4.1 — 2026-07-08 One connected surface. Tap any stop, ferry port, route button or search result — the bar at the bottom now follows it with its next departures, and a tap on empty map brings back your nearest stop. Route buttons draw the line on the map with a camera fit; search results reveal the stop on the map; line badges in the stops list are tappable too.
