### 4/5 — Nice!

*2019-11-25, version 2.0.1*

It’s nice to have blessings at a whim. I was hoping for more prayers and with the Hebrew with vowels. I wish there was an option to change the speed of the voice. It does run kinda slow for me.

### 4/5 — Please fix this app.

*2015-10-04, version 0*

I love this app. Now it always crashes. Please fix it. Thank you.

### 4/5 — Cool but....

*2008-10-31, version 0*

Need Asher yatzar on this thing please!

### 3/5 — Further expansion needed

*2008-09-08, version 0*

It’s a nice idea, but it would only be of use to me if it had the Sephardic pronunciation available as an option. Also, I'd prefer to have speech at a normal speed with a sincere sense of meaning rather than only words being slowly listed as if in a vocabulary test. As for the Shema, I think most people would already know the short part (couple of verses) that is included in this app—including Gentiles like me—but it is the rest of the Shema that I would need help with to complete fully as prescribed.

I do appreciate the guidelines that have wisely been included to not repeat blessings when not needed at the moment in order to avoid the sacred name being used vainly, as well as not operating the iPhone on the Sabbath and other Holy Days.

### 3/5 — What about the holidays?

*2008-09-03, version 0*

It would be good if it also had the various prayers and whatnot for shabbat and holidays, like for candle lighting. Those always mess me up, especially for hannukah. With those added in, I'd give this all five stars.

### 3/5 — Oy vey with a schmay!

*2008-08-26, version 0*

Would be better if yellow text box stayed on screen longer than half a second. You done a wonderful mitzvah already.

### 4/5 — BH

*2008-08-25, version 0*

The Brooklynese is cute - but bring on an Israeli or Sephard to speak to the rest of us! How about once in real time? Thank you for this app!

### 3/5 — why does it only use Ashkenazic pronunciation?

*2008-08-24, version 0*

Not to nitpick, but i think it should really include the sephardic pronunciation.

### 5/5 — Yofe Meod

*2008-08-21, version 0*

This is fantastic. A very usefull and apt application. Toda Raba.

### 5/5 — Wonderful Job

*2008-08-21, version 0*

Wonderful job on this app. It is wonderful to see these types of apps available for the Jewish community.

### 5/5 — Tischgebet zu verschiedenen Speisen

*2008-08-19, version 0*

Das erste Programm, das es verdient, gleich wieder gelöscht zu werden.
Wer jedoch vor dem Essen ein Tischgebet auf Hebräisch braucht, der soll hier zugreifen.

### 1/5 — Not for this beginner

*2012-11-14, version 0*

I agree this is a basic app, not question. As a beginner, though, I'd like to see the prayers with the transliteration for better learning. I also would like the option to hear phrases rather than choppy single words. This is great perhaps for others who learn differently, but has been less than helpful for this Hebrew neophyte.

### 1/5 — looks promising

*2010-08-08*

this app has good making for a translatorial pocket reference...
unfortunately it under delivers.. provide only limited blessings and does not give a full version of grace after meals, shema or modeh ani...
lift your game people... it could not be hard to add on to this to make it something worth downloading...

### 1/5 — Iblessings

*2009-05-24, version 0*

The program is very basic, I was expecting information about berachot on items that are tricky like tortillas etc
Again this one is for real, real beginers

### 1/5 — Should be free

*2008-09-26, version 0*

Waste of money

### 1/5 — Concept original

*2008-08-26, version 0*

Cependant pas très utile

### 1/5 — Baruch Hashem This Is Free!

*2008-08-15, version 0*

Very clever idea but poorly executed.

I do not have speakers attached as I am using on iTouch, but ... when I click an item on the placemat, it expects me to hold down rather than click once? Rather dumb, and it just shows one word, rather than the full prayer in Hebrew?

I really thought this would had been neat to have, but after using it for a minute it was rather frustrating and rather keep using little prayer cards. Even the icons are missing on my device, so I don't know if I got a faulty install, or this program is just pure tosh.

### 3/5 — App does not work with lastest IOS - App close immediately again. Pls Update !! Thx

### 3/5 — iBlessing

*2010-09-08, version 0*

This app doesn't address any combination of foods, and only foods by group -- not by name.
As someone pointed out, the pronunciation is strictly one form of "American" Ashkenazi; for example "Ha'oylem" as opposed to "Ha'olam" and the "raysh" shound is clearly pronounced like an American letter "R" and not the Hebrew letter raysh. Also, some examples aren't clear; for example why grapes (which grow on a vine) use Ha'etz, and tomatoes (which grow on a vine) use Ha'Adama.

### 3/5 — Great appearance, decent app.

*2009-08-01, version 0*

I really appreciate this app's existence, and the interface is lovely. However, some of us just need quick reminders of blessings rather than every word. It would be really great if it had an option to hear the blessing in single words, chunks (ex: "Baruch atah Adonai *pause* Elohaynu melech ha olam *pause* etc.), or in their entirety. Would be happy to upgrade to five stars if it gets updated! Thanks for the lovely app.

### 3/5 — Heavy Accent warning

*2008-12-10, version 0*

The developer should have mentioned that the audio pronunciation is Ashkenasi. For example, the reader says oylem, whereas in Israeli accent it would be olam. The Ashkenasi accent is so heavy it might confuse someone studying for conversion.

### 5/5 — Thank you thank you!

*2009-01-06, version 0*

I got this app as a person who rarely says blessings outside of bentsching likht and other shabbes basics. My Yiddish is much better than my Hebrew (I am a mostly non observant yiddishist) It is very hard to find Jewish learning materials that don't assume that you want to learn with the havara sephardit. This app makes me want to bless things all the time!

### 5/5 — nützlich

*2008-09-30, version 0*

ist natürlich nicht für jedermann interesant. aber für alle, die nach den jüdischen gesetzen leben sehr nützlich. find es sehr gut.
und toll, das es noch leute mit brauner watte im kopf gibt! ;-)

### 5/5 — Awesome application!!!

### 5/5 — Helpful & cute

*2008-09-04, version 0*

It's out of respect the Jewish comunity does not put to words the name of g-d.

Keep these apps coming!!

### 5/5 — love it!!! A few upgrade Ideas though

*2008-08-29, version 0*

This app is so great for someone like me. didnt grow up jewish but have been studying kabbalah and use these plessings daily. I would love to see the hebrew letters follow along with the words. Would love to see the morning washing of the hands. and lastly can u put the ana beko'ach

### 5/5 — congratulations

*2008-08-21, version 0*
