I had crystal, it was OK but does not block social media icons. blockr works best with social icons. purify works really well too. Tried blocker bear but it still loads ads after a few seconds. This app works like purify, it just doesn't have whitelist. Just don't enable every blocking option like scripts and style sheets. You can’t be selective and ask for only a certain image to be blocked. It is all or nothing. Although it seems to be working fine with my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9”, it hasn’t been updated in two years! I am running iOS 12; would be nice to see an update. Also I am concerned about privacy. Would like a clear privacy policy. 1. Allow us to block only select images 2. Update app 3. Detailed Privacy policy on data collection (hopefully there is no data collection) ### 4/5 — Why, though...? *2018-04-22, version 1.04* How hard is it to block a freaking BarkBox ad, though? And why is it only BarkBox getting through? It’s weird. Sometimes I open clickbaity stories on Facebook (from sites like Diply and the like) and then in Safari just so I can see them without ads. Most of the time it works. For whatever reason, though, the BarkBox ads and only the BarkBox ads get through the blocker. Legibility at last! *2018-03-28, version 1.04* I got this on a recommendation, as something that could make a certain website with a horrid font legible for me. I have iBlockify set to block font downloads, and while some other websites look strange, the one that was a problem is legible at last! I don't mind the other sites looking weird, because I can read them, too. I should marry to this genius 😃 ### 5/5 — Best adblocker in App Store *2016-11-02, version 1.04* Seriously this App deserves more attention. It works as advertised. It blocks ads, social media widgets, comments and trackers. It's highly customizable as well. The websites load considerably faster than other adblockers and it doesn't slow video loading in websites like Streamable. My only complaint is that the developer should add a "button" so that users can press on it and get updates from within the app. Rating : 5 stars ### 5/5 — Excellent Utility *2016-09-02, version 1.04* Works as advertised and is a great tool for help in managing bandwidth on a cellular budget. Some may wish for whitelist but it's not like I use whitelists so not a problem. It's surprisedly completely free and does what I want to do(block ads, social share buttons and comments) so yeah I deleted that 1Blocker sitting in my folder since it takes too much space.
