There’s not much else to say about this app. All of the enthusiasm I used to have about checking in on my kids is no longer there. The experience of this app was the catalyst. Seems like the only KPI they focus on is surprising the end user it actually worked.  Again, this isn’t a joke, I don’t own a competitor or care. I really just want something functional. This app has pushed me away from even being up to date with my children. Mostly banking on a phone call if there a dire emergency. If the goal was to relinquish the parent from updates and to forget abouti their kids this app wins across all boards. I’m sure they will be quick to jump to user error or improper setup. Fine but know your the joke at the dinner table and at my job. When you’ve got parents across the board frustrated it might be time to just 1) go out of business or 2) actually work on improving the product. 

Maybe start with polling a parent on what they care about too. Not a genius here just trying to help you .

After the recent update, the app is not loading any new information/updates posted. It keeps on refreshing and trying to load and nothing happens. Such a bad experience using this app.

This is now the third childcare app I’ve used and it’s by far the worst. Fails to update me in a timely manner, never shows photos or shows multiple photos with incorrect captions, no way to contact the school via the app, no way to contact the developer, no way to reset your username or password without going through school admin, the list goes on. Everything about this app is irrevocably broken and I would never use it another day in my life if it weren’t tied to my child’s school.

I had to download this app for my kids daycare. I was given my username and pw provided by the daycare and logged in, the app just shows a white screen. NOTHING shows up for me and this is frustrating because I was told by the daycare facility that I have 2 days to change my pw or I will be locked out of this app. How can I change my password when the app isn’t working!

It’s been 12 days and I cannot view any updates! I get notifications but when I open the app, it does not show the updates! Very frustrating! Please fix!

This app only works when it wants to. I just want to see what my daughter is doing when they send something but it always says it’s loading and nothing comes up. Horrible.

Either this app has gotten hacked or someone was doing some testing in prod. Received over 100 notifications in the past hour of debits being taken out that weren’t taken out and updates to children’s portfolios that aren’t mine. No way to contact the company to tell them there’s an issue.

Very buggy app. I am a US user and I see the thumbnail that photos of my children are uploaded but when I click the picture it never loads. Also when I go to the settings, the prompts I click never load.

The pictures that the teachers send do not show up. All they do is load up, but never show up. Upsetting because the pictures help me get through the day and I love to know what the kids are doing and learning in class.

Hello, you'd get 0 stars from me if I could. I'm forced to use this terrible app. When it was first introduced to our poor hostaged schools by the terrible corporate overlords (I'm looking at YOU Learning Jungle schools) who had purchased them (the schools) we were all rightfully concerned about how this app was going to hinder our daily lives at work, take time and attention away from the children in our care and if the app was even necessary. Years into using it now, and I can confidently say- it has done all those things and it isn't necessary. When I worked at another center I didn't mind using brightwheel as much, it was more intuitive, less glitchy and less irritating to use overall. You can only select one photo at a time for moments, and that normally takes forever to get it to select the photos. The observations don't have the option to simply say "no" cause some kids absolutely aren't doing those things and that's okay. Y'all act like it's a bad thing. Some glitch has happened for the past few months now where if you click on the time for potties and things like that you can only scroll to the right time now, you can no longer type the time in as would be most convenient. It's glitchy, sometimes takes forever to refresh or reload, it takes so long to use most times it absolutely takes time and attention away from the kids in our care. I genuinely just hate this app and wouldn't recommend it to absolutely anyone- just like I'd never recommend the company I work for to anyone. If this is your app that you made- I hope you take my review personally. I honestly hope it hurts your feelings so you're motivated to fix it or scrap the whole thing entirely and try again. Absolutely ridiculous app

This app has been awful for years now. Hoped it would eventually get better, but there’s been zero effort to improve it. Developer clearly does not care about the awful performance. I’m unfortunately stuck using it as my kid’s daycare gives me no other option.

This app is so annoying and the worst app ever it glitches so bad that it takes like two hours to finally put all the information in for each kid. I’ll finish a kid and do another one and when I go back all the information I did on the previous kid is deleted and this happens multiple times. And yes, everything will say it is synced and it will still delete. I don’t have time to fool around with this app even as a parent the app has similar issues it’s glitches. It’s very slow and just to look at my bill It takes about 10 minutes due to loading. The main thing that’s frustrating is there’s no way that we can contact parents through the app. a lot of other daycare centers have that feature on their app. We’re not allowed to have the parents phone numbers so a lot of times when we need to get in contact with a parent we have to stop what we’re doing and call for admin and sometimes admin is busy. It is very inconvenient for everyone. Because we weren’t able to get in contact with the parents sometimes kids are out of diapers don’t have extra clothes when needed so we just have to figure something out. Which can frustrate the parent when coming to pick their kid up.

This app was specifically designed for parents at LearningJungle could get effective updates on their children. But this app is less than mediocre. Half of the time it does not work according to the teachers. There has been times where I have gone over a week without a full day of updates. So I am completely in the dark on what’s happening with my child. There’s no direct messaging and no video pulsates. While video and pictures are nice to have, it should be required for there to be some sort of update when your child is at school 5 days a week. The milestone updates seem to be just a checkbox and extremely impersonal. This app is pretty useless to be honest and the creators need to start over.

This app has very basic functionality - like very basic. I’d imagine it was coded by amateur engineers. Literally you can vibe code an app better than this one. 

I’m not even trying to be disrespectful or rude. I’m just astounded as a parent with children how terrible this app is compared to your competitors.

Now my wife got logged out and can’t log back in either. So now neither of us can get updates on our child at daycare. I’m starting to the the company has abandoned the app and perusing other business ventures.

I have been unable to log in for several months, and during that time I’ve tried every channel of communication this company offers. Which is through email, and only email. As of today, I’ve sent 24 emails over the course of six months; from both the app and the website; without receiving so much as an acknowledgment. Since email is the only support option provided, it effectively means there is no support at all.

For schools considering this platform, I would strongly caution against it. A communication tool that ignores its users is hardly a tool at all. The silence has been the most consistent feature of this service.

This app is a much evolved version of its predecessor offering much better UI experience and stability. Parents should be able to see their child’s picture portfolio and learn about their individual development.

Simple and easy to use app to check on my kid at daycare. But why is there no setting for notifications?? Seems like an obvious feature to notify the user when a photo or “insight” has been posted in the app. Hopefully the my will add this feature soon, until then not a 5 star app

Since the last update I receive the notifications of new moments but when I open the app it won’t update the feed. Haven’t been able to see daily moments posted by my daughters educator for a few days now.

I don’t know if it was the last update or if it’s something on the daycare’s side since my son just changed rooms but this app went from “a constant in my day” to “a constant pain in my day”. My phone stopped auto filling the username and password, in fact has no record of it at all in my passwords, so I have to login manually now (usually 2x per day). Which would be okay except it’s a user and password that I was assigned rather than one I made so it’s just long character strings that I have to dig out of an ancient email each time. So to make it a wee bit easier I changed my password in the app. It accepted it. Then the next time I went to log in it said my password was wrong. I put in the old password and it worked. I decided to go to the app support page but it asked me to sign in first. So I did. It said both my username and password are incorrect now. So here I am, leaving this review as a last resort. I don’t know what happened because up until recently it worked like a dream.

Gosh…there has to be a simpler way to administer this app. Most often it doesn’t load and so I have no idea of the info for my kid that day. I had to uninstall and reinstall to get it to stop signing me out despite having the latest version. If it is this buggy for teachers then I can totally understand why they don’t use it more. I’m not sure why daycare providers would choose to use this app over other streamlined options. Also, why can’t there be a feed of info instead of only the current day’s info. I hope it improves.

This app is visually appealing and well organized, but is too unstable to actually use. My wife and I both find that it crashes and closes every time we try to use it.
