Next year was better ### 5/5 — This app is a must have for BRC navigation. *2024-08-26* I used this in 2023 and it was crucial to finding my way around, and getting to events and finding food if I was hungry and away from camp. Also when mudpocalypse threw all our chips in the air, and the city was halfway deconstructed I was able to find my way around after the man and temple burned. It is really easy to get disoriented sometimes after a night of getting wonky and wild, and this app certainly helps a ton. Great job developers! 5 stars for you! Many blessings! I wish there was a way for folks going up to build to unlock a bit earlier. I was really hoping to print it some paper-based adventure routes using data from the app. But I realize the embargo on location data has to do with BM Org rules, not the developer. I also feel like search isn’t working quite as well as it used to. See you in the dust ### 5/5 — Great Playa Helper! *2024-07-02* You will likely not have connectivity on the playa unless you own/rent a satellite phone. The Playa is bigger than you think. This app WORKS on the playa (without internet connection) and is excellent for both helping you navigate, providing location info, listing current events (more dynamic than the White Pages). His name was Smithy McDurkin and he taught me how to whistle. You see, I had not learned up until that point. Smithy was an old timer, back from when tickets were not a thing and you could drive around, shootin’ on the playa. Well, I thought it only fair to share something with Smithy. So I reached into my hamster holder and pulled out the iBurn app. When Smitty laid eyes on this app, they went wide. His pupils dilated, and then they rolled up towards the sky. He let out a wheeze, a long aching moan, and then shrank to the ground. His body turned into dust, and Smithy became part of all of us. To this day, I still whistle a little Daft Punk tune for Smithy when I walk along the trash fence. I just realised that because there’s no login for this app, you lose EVERYTHING when it change your phone or have to re-download the app for any reason. Create a login guys!!!! ### 1/5 — So close but so far away *2014-09-02* Idiotic restriction prevented crucial information (mainly location of camps and events) theoretically until Sunday, when access code would be released. But i didn't have cell access at BRC so what's the point? Also, it relied on GPS to give locations (one couldn't just type in a location to determine closest events/camps). And no alphabetical lookup!!!!! Oh, and camp descriptions were all truncated. This is bizarre, since each description was at different lengths, but they still managed to truncate practically every one! It’s perfect being able to navigate around the city when all the signs are down and scheduled activities.
