You get a fully function CCTV surveillance system (well, judged on amateur or home user standards. Yes, there are some tech chicanes to steer round until you get the full hang of it, but tech support is excellent with rapid response. I have even got my old iPhone 3GS set up as an extra camera. The motion detection alert system works very well - so you don't even have to have iCam running on your receiving device (e.g. iPhone) to know something is going on. Just one criticism - there doesn't seem to be a version of iCam as an app for Mac. There's supposed to be a web browser interface but so far I haven't got this to work.
