But, I do believe in giving credit when credit is due. And this app is in recognition of some well deserved props!! This is literally HOURS of fun. I cannot tell you how many times I had time fly by while playing around with this app. There's awesome games, as well as just being able to play around and watch some cool graphics. I love it. What can't it morph? *2014-03-25* iCanMorph is a particle based visual engine with an added game function. I bumped into the developer in a hotel continental breakfast table and he showed me the app that has been three years in the making. iCanMorph has a fairly basic UI, but its simplicity helps accentuate the complexity of the actual shapes. The developer has stated, (and I can confirm), that the graphics and performance are far optimized for the iPad. It works on the iPhone, but you lose the detail of particles. There are a plethora of different "morph-modes" which keep the app fresh and new. The game mode is fairly simple: touch a particle to clear it, hit a bomb and lose. The dev creatively uses the iOS default sound kit to add sound effects to the game, with sometimes hilarious results. The app is all infinitely expandable, so I don't anticipate it getting old anytime soon. ============= Feature request ============= - add a menu for the different modes instead of just iterating through them. ### 5/5 — Good to play with for a while *2014-03-24* The UI seems a bit primitive though usable. It seems to be a "game" not a photo or art app. You can't morph "anything", you can only play with the forms the app provides. I normally try to find the positive in everything but with this one I am struggling. Is it a game or a serious app? Not real sure. But even with my sound off and volume off, it makes noises. If you could get it to create movies without the need for a computer, that would be awesome. And how come I can't display text in any font? We need to be able to pick from all available fonts. ### 3/5 — It's entertaining I guess... *2014-03-29* The app itself is fun to mess around with, but it gets boring fast. Ill tell you right now that this app isn't what the description. You can't use your own photos, and the morphing is very limited. The UI gets in the way and is very annoying, but it can be closed with a button. Not to mention the UI looks unprofessional. A lot of hard work had gone into the making of the app. Kudos.
