### 4/5 — Love, except recent UI update

*2026-08-07, version 15.0.4*

I love iCatcher! and have been using it religiously for years for all of my podcasts.

I’m having problems with the recent UI update in 2 areas (I’m on an iPhone 13 Mini and will hang on to this “small” phone until it’s pried from my hands!!):

1. Deleting a downloaded episode. This is the most common thing I do every day and you used to be able to simply swipe left and pick “delete” but now you have to click on the TINY 3 dots, click Delete on the menu, and then click Delete Episode. So many steps! Also, 90% of the time, the menu quickly disappears before I’m able to even hit the delete episode button. Sometimes if I go fast enough I can grab it, but mostly I have to mark as watched and then later go to the bottom and delete. All of this is really frustrating. This appears to be a bug.

2. It’s really hard to tell if an episode has been watched. Something changed with the colors or shading where it used to be obvious, and now I have to study/compare next to another episode. :(

Thank you!!

### 5/5 — Best podcast player out there!!!!

*2026-07-31, version 15.0.4*

I’ve been using iCatcher! for years. It is the best out there. Setting up playlists, syncing between devices, and managing subscriptions, it’s just the best.

### 5/5 — Still great…

*2026-07-22, version 15.0.4*

Thank you for the response from the developer. I have now resolved issues. Great app. Used it for years and still the best.

### 3/5 — Still great, but...

*2026-07-17*

Probably the only app that keeps me on ios currently. One feature that is massively missing from the recent updates is the ability to move the episodes within a play list. Previous version, I could edit the play order by selecting edit. I could then move it and a number of episodes at once to a different place in the play list. It no longer appear in these updates

### 5/5 — Best Podcast App

*2026-07-14, version 15.0.2*

This podcast app is my favorite. Joe the developer did an amazing job. I noticed that there an a really. Life major update recently which was great.
I have been happily using this app for many many years on my iPhone and iPad. I love the swipe gestures and the user interface is nice. Swipe left or right to skip ahead or back. Swipe up and to the right to mark as played or draw an L to do the Leo skipping 2 minutes.
Double tap to pause or play. I also love the user interface. I have tried many other podcast apps but prefer this one.
This app can play video and audio podcasts.

### 2/5 — New UI, but disappointing performance

*2026-07-13, version 15.0.2*

Update: Moore and Moore playback issues. Episodes pause. The streaming of episodes fails unexpectedly. This is becoming unusable.

The new UI is pretty nice, but I have a lot of issues with playback is unreliable since the refresh. For example, it sometimes takes several taps to get a streaming episode to play. Sometimes it jumps forward to the next episode unexpectedly. Sometimes when I tell Siri to go back several minutes it goes back to the previous episode in the queue.
These are not rare problems. I encounter them basically every other day. I’ve emailed the developer and haven’t heard anything; I’m sure he’s busy…

### 5/5 — My favorite podcast app (again)

*2026-07-08, version 15.0.2*

A mature app, and it keeps getting better. Well-designed, and you can tell that it's had real-world testing. Great usability and attention to detail. With so many features and options, you can configure the app exactly the way you want it. I especially like the Auto Start Sleep Timer, a feature I have not seen in other podcast apps. The developer is responsive and releases timely updates.

### 5/5 — Years of podcasting

*2026-07-07, version 15.0.2*

I started listening to podcasts when Adam Curry (the Pod Father) produced the Daily Source Code podcast.

I’ve tried different podcast players over the years and haven’t found any other players that work as well as iCatcher. The user features make it both easy to use, and has power-user features.

A great product. 👍👍

### 4/5 — Working well

*2026-07-03, version 15.0.2*

So much better than Apple's Pmodcast app. It sometimes freezes on the download screen.

### 5/5 — Great app, love it

*2026-07-03, version 15.0.2*

2026 update: added features have made this even better and it’s still the best.

I love this app! It has more settings and features than anything else I’ve ever used. It has everything I need and allows for authenticated podcast which far too few apps do and this is the best of the ones that do
