This app clearly does what you want it to do without complicating things. I'm a physician and I use this app almost daily. Best part of the app is "favorites" for my commonly used codes.

### 4/5 — ICD-9 Coding Prgm

*2012-11-21, version 1.5*

As a road warrior traveling consultant this program comes in very handy to verify codes. It also provides a quick source for coding so opening up my laptop for Trucode is not necessary.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2013-04-20, version 1.5*

Incorrect coding process. Takes you to tabular not alphabetic index. Not worth it!!!!!!!

### 1/5 — Unhappy

*2012-08-10, version 1.2.31*

I can't even find the simplest diagnosis codes....not worth it

### 2/5 — Drdoneedle

*2012-05-04, version 1.2.31*

Okay app. If you want to look up something quickly. Not a good app for billing personnel.

### 2/5 — No response to questions

*2012-03-09, version 1.2.31*

Ok app. This is not a difficult algorithm to convert to a program.
There is a link to ask questions of the IT staff. I have sent several questions and Never received a response.
They ask for full purchase price to receive updates to the 2012 version after I already purchased the app in early 2012!

### 2/5 — Slower than using a book

*2011-06-16, version 1.0.1*

No one in the office liked it.

Difficult to find codes. It gives way too many unrelated codes
for ex: typing "upper resp" gives dx like Reyes syndrome because it gives a long definition of Reyes.
but typing "exam ins" gives nothing, "examination" gives hundreds, "examination ins" or "examination insurance" gives nothing,
even thought V70.3 lists examination for insurance purposes in their app

### 3/5 — Comment

*2013-04-10, version 1.5*

I wish favorites were easier to find.

### 3/5 — Not easy to use

*2011-04-29, version 1.0.1*

Must be very familiar with coding to be able to look up your codes. Otherwise this coding app is good. Not for the beginner.

### 3/5 — Non male!

*2011-02-28, version 1.0.1*

Per essere gratis ottima

### 4/5 — CNS

*2013-05-04, version 1.5*

### 4/5 — Fantastic Tool

*2013-04-08, version 1.5*

This is a handy reference in home care. Many coworkers are downloading this app because they love it too. I would love to see a similar app for procedure codes. Keep it up!!

A great resource

### 5/5 — Extremely Helpful App

*2013-09-06, version 1.5*

I use this app frequently to pin point the codes I need. It is a great help.

Otherwise I waste tons of time guessing which word to use to pull up the appropriate code. I am usually guessing incorrectly..frustrating. Using this app makes it so much easier to find the codes I am looking for.

I recommend it highly. It is easy to use and much faster than guessing.

### 5/5 — Exactly what I was looking for!
