## Most critical reviews (6 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App no longer functional or supported

*2024-05-11, version 1.4.4*

Disappointing that the App no longer works. Was looking forward to tracking and seeing icebergs using it, but no one is able to submit reports anymore deeming the App useless. Hope to see this change!

### 1/5 — Too clingy

*2023-03-15, version 1.4.3*

App is supported by ads, ok. App requires your personal data to post, ok. App requires your personal data to view iceberg map, No thanks . I opened Safari and viewed a web page iceberg map with pics without having to add another password to my list or share more info before I was comfortable. Asks to much for nothing.

### 2/5 — This is Nice

*2024-06-29*

Nice, but for the space it takes it could have a lot more features!! Would be nice to track the temperatures, the wildlife effected, notifications of drifting areas & possibilities of natural disasters related!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. This app is not funded and generates zero revenue; when released, it was the first of its kind in NL, developed as a free tool to view and post about icebergs and whales. Unfortunately, we don't have the resources to expand functionality at this time. But we will continue to maintain the app and make it available to use as long as possible.

### 2/5 — Buggy and poorly designed

*2018-06-02, version 1.2*

Very buggy and poorly designed. Why would you force people to register and login in order just to see the map? Also quite slow. It cuts out sound if you’re playing music when you open the app (I thought developers realized they shouldn’t do this five years ago). Unlike the old website, you can’t see the size (small, medium, large) of an iceberg on the map without tapping. Tapping on the “Privacy Policy” leads nowhere and provides nothing, which is especially troubling for an app that requires your email address and location in order to use any functionality. I give it 2 stars because the idea (not execution) is good, and if you work hard you can actually find out where icebergs are.

### 3/5 — Location issue

*2017-05-21, version 1.0*

Can't get app to recognize location where pin is dropped.

### 5/5 — Works fine.

*2023-12-22, version 1.4.4*

All the complaints are about signing up and stuff, but once you do, it works fine.

Maybe you guys could make up a guest mode and make signup optional.

The Newsfeed is great for viewing all the latest iceberg sightings, with pretty up to date content.🙂

Hats off to the developers. It’s a nice little app. 👍
