Thankfully I had printed and screenshotted them ahead of time. In addition it does not show gate or even terminal information for all flights, only some. I had to rely on Google and airport information boards to get this information. These are probably the most crucial information one could have. Terrible app! , please improve technology!., ### 2/5 — Beware of checking open seats *2026-01-08, version 4.4.2* When I booked my flight from Portland to Paris (through Reykjavik), I didn’t reserve a seat. 24 hours before the flight when I checked in, I used the app to see what seats were available. The only way to see how much a seat costs is to click on it. But that automatically reserves it at the same time. You can click on other seats but you can not ever undo and go back to the previous menu without reserving some kind of extra cost paid seat. The app won’t let you finish check-in without paying for the seat. That is bonkers. We should be able to check which seats are available and at what cost without having to commit to buying them. Terrible UI and enough (combined with the horrible sardine can crowds and punishing gate agents at Reykjavik airport) to make me choose another carrier. ### 1/5 — Buggy *2025-12-26, version 4.4.2* Boarding passes disappear when boarding begins. Absolute scammers, will nickel and dime and take everything they possibly can. I lost my brother and had to rebook my tickets so I could go back home. It took weeks to get a funeral date so I had to rebook again and spent hundreds of dollars altogether rebooking. The second time I had to spend hours on the phone I wasn’t even able to do it myself. AWFUL, will avoid at all costs in the future and no desire to visit Iceland either but unfortunately forced to spend a night there during my layover, have to gather my bags and then pay another bag fee. For upcoming flights, information was requested of all passengers. We filled in all places that applied to us, but then received 17 error messages saying that information needed corrections or that other information was needed after filling in passport information. One area we left blank said “only fill in if you have a visa from the USA”. As citizens of the country, we do not need visas. Nevertheless, after leaving the area blank, multiple error messages popped up about these being required fields. //additionally, one of us has a medical condition requiring bringing a small item aboard (usually standard but they wanted 48 hr notice). Unable to do anything with customer service through app/webpage despite trying for an hour. Wanted to like app as it has nice pages, but very frustrating. ### 1/5 — If you book through an agency, you’re gonna have a rough time *2026-06-05, version 4.5.1* The integration this company has with travel agencies is buggy as all hell. Trying to use this app in the first place is a nightmare, but even if your issue is THEIR technology being a problem, they’ll always blame someone else.
