I’ve just done 20 certs and got used to filling them in quickly. Now it’s a complete faff. The last 2 layouts were ok but the latest one is rubbish. It’s so unnecessary as the end result is the exact same. I understand adding features but there’s no need to change the whole layout everytime ### 2/5 — Crashes frequently *2026-06-14, version 12.12.48* Have this and the fire app both crash regularly, also misleading with the AI features. You have to buy tokens. Won’t be renewing after the 12 month. ### 2/5 — They’ve never sorted out the bugs *2026-05-23, version 12.12.48* I used ICertifi for years. It was always buggy. i once lost a whole day’s test results once and had to recheck the entire installation due to it not saving properly. They add new features, but never fix the old faults and then introduce new faults. You used to be able to click a SPARE button when filling in circuit details, which added N/A into all the boxes and was a big time saver, but that just disappeared and it’s never returned. Want to give them feedback? Create a separate account in order to communicate with them, provide your feedback, then find yourself banned because they “didn’t like your tone” they don’t even have the stones to just add an email address so you can contact them easily. You have to set up a different account that they can then ban you if they don’t like what you have to say. It’s obviously been designed without the input of jobbing electricians because if they did, it would make a lot more sense and be less awful. Shame because the final certificate output eventually looks professional, but the workings behind the software has too many bugs and they just keep introducing new ones. They should have used genuine sparks for Beta testing before rolling out updates but they clearly don’t. And now they’ve added some BS AI features (at extra cost of course) but they haven’t bothered addressing previous issues. I’d love to tell them what doesn’t work but I’m banned. I reckon I used this for 10 years (it was handy for use with an iPad) but Ive now cancelled my subscription. I’ll find something else that works properly and a company that can take constructive feedback without wetting the bed because you’ve had the gall to tell them it needs more work. ### 3/5 — Improvements *2026-04-24, version 12.12.48* Been using the app years and is good but more and more competition is out now. Could do with upgrades, DRAG AND DROP CIRCUITS AS SOMETIMES OUT OF ORDER, TAKE MORE THAN 1 PIC FOR AI FILLING ### 3/5 — It’s ok *2026-02-08, version 12.12.35* It’s ok. Not great. Too many bugs. Select subcontractor details (alt profile) but continues to include my companies details as the title of the cert and address at the bottom of some pages. Select to have the individual design, construction and testing sections removed when not used but they remain on the certs. Being able to do everything offline is ideal. ### 4/5 — Transportable building *2026-01-29, version 12.12.35* Any chance you can add “Transportable building periodic inspection report”? ### 1/5 — Unfortunately it’s becoming increasingly unusable. *2026-01-11, version 12.12.30* It’s very difficult to talk to anyone about the issues that I’ve experienced hence leaving this review instead. Initially I loved the app. However it’s become very buggy. The price has also gone up almost 50% so for that reason I will not be renewing when the time comes. ### 1/5 — App very buggy. Nasty ‘customer service’. *2025-12-19, version 12.12.25* The app has many good things going for it but is very buggy, always. The owner of the app has the most awfully rude customer service skills and just blocks longterm paying customers on social media when they ask simple questions re updates / poor app performance. ### 1/5 — Mr *2025-12-14, version 12.12.24* It used to be easier now it’s taking longer time to complete the certificate. If this doesn’t change I will be looking to different software. ### 1/5 — Title: Very disappointed – no support, app not functioning properly *2025-12-03, version 12.12.23* I’ve used iCertifi for several years as a NAPIT-approved electrical contractor and originally found it a useful tool for issuing certificates. Unfortunately, the recent versions have become unreliable — cloud backup and device sync no longer work correctly, and I’ve lost access to certificates between my iPhone and iPad. I’ve repeatedly tried to contact iCertifi through every official channel (Zendesk, WhatsApp, and the phone number listed on their website), but none of them respond. The Zendesk support form doesn’t even submit, and WhatsApp messages are ignored. For a paid professional platform that electrical contractors depend on daily, this lack of customer service is unacceptable. I’ve since requested a refund through Apple and will be moving my business to an alternative certification app. ### 1/5 — They Lost 10 Years of my certificates when they launched their ‘backup upgrade options’… *2025-11-28, version 12.12.23* They Lost 10 Years of my certificates when they launched their ‘backup upgrade options’… and did not help in any way to get them back. Terrible support. Bugs still in there from version 1. ### 2/5 — Certificate details *2025-11-09, version 12.12.23* I used to be able to use an old certificate for the details which would get transferred over to the new certificate. I now cannot do this. Please sort it out as a lot of my test sheets have the same details on it without this. I haven’t received any information from them on possible fixes. They should have been way more proactive knowing the effect this will have had on contractors. Contacting on WhatsApp is a joke, you’ll just be told to speak to their AI bot. For the amount I have spent over the last 10years on this app for the 3 different apps (iCertifi/Fire and PAT) the level of customer service is appalling. People have got used to the layout so jobs flow nicely. There was nothing wrong with the previous design so why change!!!!! Not happy. I have emailed the support line and they couldn’t be less helpful, days to reply with a worthless email which doesn’t help at all. STAY CLEAR OF THIS APP ### 1/5 — Greedy *2026-06-08, version 12.12.48* This app is great but the billing is extortionate. I’ve had this app since it was free now they want £130 a year just to use it. If you don’t pay you can’t access any of your certs. After 15years of using this app I’m going to have to look for another or start my own app. It’s just pure greed how this company is operating. They have taken so much money over the years and it seems to just get more and more expensive. ### 1/5 — Lost Certs *2026-04-13, version 12.12.48* The app has updated and lost multiple certs which is unacceptable and has cost me time and money. Then they split it and the fire /e lights and pat all went into their separate aps costing a lot extra. I wouldn’t mind so much if the software wasn’t so full of bugs. Every update and I mean every one brings a fresh Bach of bugs. Honestly how anyone uses this still I don’t know, I have 1000’s of certificates saved on here which is the only reason I used it still, a lot of the 5 year certs I do are due again this year, after that I’ve 5 years to redo them onto new software. It’s a right hassle but I cannot deal with the bugs and mainly the attitude of the “technical” man there, how he still has a job, he must of made the utterly rubbish software because any company having a ma like that working there would of sacked him a long time ago. How he gets away with his condescending and aggressive reply’s, talking to long standing (8yrs at least) customers like he does I’ll just say it’s a good job he’s behind a keyboard somewhere safe and not a desk. ### 1/5 — Unfortunately terrible *2026-01-14, version 12.12.30* The app has, for years, had so much potential, but the never-ending quest for ‘new’ - (un-helpful) - “AI features” - makes the regular functions drag and buggy. Customer service is really terrible too. They/he (owner) just blocks you.
