### 2/5 — It’s ok…

*2024-03-15, version 8.4.2*

As someone who needs to do annual testing and a lot of it for an events business, it’s great.

However, the app seems unstable. I could get 25 appliances into testing and then the app crashes, losing everything I’ve entered. Very very frustrating.

Seems like it’s been like that for a while. Please sort.

### 2/5 — Awful & Zero Support

*2024-02-19, version 8.3.7*

I write this in the hope of getting some support from iCertifi. I have limped I’m using their normal app without any useful updates for years (copy / paste/ convert to EICR among others) and have given up but I would just like it if the PAT App didn’t crash every time you add a single piece of information. iCertifi PAT App Issues Again, more basic but frustrating issues to do with icertifi Apps, this time the PAT app which is £50 per year has bugs from 5 years ago and crashes constantly. Trying to get through to iCertifi is almost as difficult as using their apps. Issue 1 The PAT App crashes constantly. I must have had to reopen the same file 150 times to enter test results for 30 items today. It crashes when setting up the file initially so you have to save every step, even half way through writing the name, it likely crashes before you can save. It crashes every time when entering test results. My method is this: Open Certificate Go to Items Enter Test Details for item. Save (more than likely crashes at this point). Home Open Certificate Go to Items Enter Test Details for item. Save (more than likely crashes at this point). Open Certificate Go to Items Enter Test Details for item. Save (more than likely crashes at this point). Etc Etc. Really frustrating. Other improvements needed : 1. No ability to load a saved signature as in iCertifi main App, you have to use your finger to make a squiggle which looks unprofessional. 2. The whole address doesn’t show on the cover page, only part of it. 3. Business Logo is small and not obvious, more space is needed. 4. www.iCertifi.co.uk webiste doesn’t load. iCertifi could be forgiven for these issues at the start of an Apps development but the fact is they continue, without resolution and its impossible to get a response from anyone. iCertifi - Are you out there?

### 2/5 — Very glitchy

*2023-10-18, version 8.3.4*

Copy appliance data function only copies some data, the rest must be manually filled each time

No option to serialise appliance ID meaning they have to be manually added everytime

N/A selected to clear measured values still leaves earth continuity readings in certificate despite being greyed out in form

Even if selecting “default all items to pass” in settings, still have to click pass for each item

To see appliances on form you have to hit “add appliances” tab, even if you just want to see not add them

### 2/5 — Poor

*2023-08-06, version 8.3.1*

Glitchy, it needs work on resolving issues of it keep throwing you out and speeding up the process

### 1/5 — Crashing wiped all progress

*2023-01-10, version 8.3.1*

Bought this app today as I had 300 items to test and thought it would look more professional… only for the app to crash at around the 60 mark, resulting in me having to re-test 60 appliances as I needed the data. Contacted iCertify by WhatsApp to be told there’s no refund. Paid £30 to have an app that made my work more difficult. Avoid

### 1/5 — Rip off now

*2022-12-13, version 8.3.1*

This app was brilliant when it was included with the iCertifi but now have to pay to subscribe to this as well as fire what a rip off

### 1/5 — Greedy developers

*2022-10-21, version 8.2*

App used to be included with iCertifi, without any warning overnight it became an additional subscription. I will not subscribe even though I can no longer access previous data saved on the app. This was a dirty trick from developers not warning loyal subscribers this would happen. The app is not worth an additional subscription it is buggy and tedious to complete. Good luck if you need to contact ‘technical support’

### 1/5 — Will not accept my existing subscription

*2022-01-10, version 8.0*

I have a subscription, pressed the button but just get a spinning wheel.
This has locked me out of writing certs, sort it out now please!

### 1/5 — Devs got greedy and 5X’d sub costs

*2021-12-06, version 7.2.6*

This used to be £24.99 for 3 months and the subscription covered iCertifi, iCertifi fire and iCertifi PAT.

They have increased the subscription to 39.99 for 3 months and have also sneakily introduced a separate subscription for each separate app.

So the cost has went from £24.99 for 3 months to £119.97. This is an absolute scam. After contacting the abs dealing with condescending customer support I deleted all the apps from my phone and contacted Apple for a refund.

Check out Electraform. Better software and transparent pricing.

### 1/5 — Was good.

*2021-11-04, version 7.2.5*

We all had been paying the full fee for ICertifi apps and have been very happy for many years.
Then over night they split the apps and make them all chargeable.
So as if £79.99 wasn’t enough for ICertifi we now have to pay an additional £59.99 just for
This Pac testing app on top.
You have become very greedy people indeed.

### 1/5 — Copy and paste

*2021-10-14, version 7.2.4*

Still can't copy and paste circuits as it throws you out of the app and you lose all information typed up on iPhone

### 1/5 — Terrible Customer Service

*2021-10-03, version 7.2.3*

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
Their customer service is horrific!

### 1/5 — RIP off

*2021-10-01, version 7.2.3*

Subscription was for all certs now they want to charge per app try else where as they are robbers

### 1/5 — Older version

*2021-06-03, version 7.0*

Hey team,
We have an old Gen 2 iPad that we wish to use just for test and tag but cannot download your current one as "it is not compatible" do you have an older version or a work around?

### 3/5 — Good but expensive

*2021-01-27, version 7.0*

Good app with a lot of good features. Would be better with a monthly subscription as opposed to 3 months being the minimum. Another improvement would be a quicker way to copy details of appliances over, e.g, doing 20 iec cables and having to fill out the same info every time gets very repetitive. Only thing it seems to copy is the name and location.
Other than the above it’s a great, user friendly app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — WHY DO YOU NEED ACCESS TO MY AUDIO FEED????

*2025-02-18, version 8.5*

As if writing PATs isn’t mundane enough, this overzealous app won’t let me listen to any music app at the same time because for some god unknown reason it thinks it needs access to the audio feed on my phone? Why? Absolutely pain in the neck.

Also insists it needs access to my camera and will remind you every time you add an appliance even if you have no intention of adding photos. And I toggled between giving you access/revoked to the microphone to see if that would fix the audio feed hijack problem - no luck.

This needs to be fixed. This is what happens when app developers try too hard to be too smart. Wankers

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2025-02-10, version 8.4.9*

The only reason I use this app is because each appliance has a photograph in the register. As soon as I find an alternative software which has this feature, I’ll be cancelling the subscription to this app.

The app constantly crashes and deletes any appliance added since the last save and has cost me so much time in the past.

### 1/5 — Won’t stop crashing !!!

*2024-06-24, version 8.4.6*

Won’t stop crashing and icertify are nowhere to be seen !!

### 1/5 — Not Good.

*2023-10-20, version 8.3.4*

Poor layout and to expensive if you just want to see how it goes.

### 1/5 — What customer service!!!

*2023-09-02, version 8.3.2*

Had the iCertifi app for 15 years and all the other apps I paid for too. Then one day the app didn’t work lost 15 year worth of certificates. The bloke didn’t want to know and blocked me from contacting him. So if I was you I wouldn’t bother with any of his apps.

### 1/5 — Do not buy

*2023-08-28, version 8.3.2*

I’ve used this and found it is full of bugs. Random Pictures fail to load also same with results. I had to keep going back over installing these but still randomly fail to load on to the certificate. You cannot fill in results on one device and view on another either.

### 1/5 — Renewal subscription

*2023-06-23, version 8.3.1*

App automatically renewed the subscription but unable to use the app as subscription not registering on my iPad. Have paid but unable to use.

### 1/5 — Constantly crashes

*2023-03-29, version 8.3.1*

Doesn't auto save certificates. I'm having to manually save after every single appliance addition - infuriating to say the least. iPhone 13 Pro Max fully up to date, with no issues. So must be software related.

### 1/5 — Poor

*2023-03-01, version 8.3.1*

If you want to repeatedly spend hours typing certificates just for the app to crash and loose all of your test results then this is the product for you.

### 1/5 — Adam coates

*2023-01-30, version 8.3.1*

The app is fantastic however the constant crashing and loosing information is very frustrating if this was fixed then this would be a be brilliant

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Better

*2025-05-21, version 8.5*

They updated it now better than it was a while a go , less clitches than previous

### 5/5 — Lousing data

*2022-08-05, version 8.1.9*

I m very disappointed. How can I louse all the data . I was rating more than 3 h, and is just gone when I press , save ,,
Very disappointed!!!!

### 5/5 — Greed triumphs again.

*2022-04-03, version 8.1.8*

I’ve been using ICertifi for many years. I have also been praising the products ease of use and the facility of having fire, PAT, EICR, etc all on one subscription. Having renewed my subscription, I went to a job to do an EICR, whilst there I was asked to do a PAT test. No problem I thought but when I tried to open the app, it kept stating that I need to subscribe. I have since discovered that I now need to to pay for each app independently. When and why did that happen?

### 5/5 — Subscriptions 👎

*2022-01-31, version 8.1.3*

Big fan of the apps an have been a member for a long time shame I now have to pay for all thee apps separately.

### 5/5 — Buggy app

*2020-12-03, version 6.7.7*

This app can be very good. Unfortunately developers are not improving anything recently.
For example - try to copy appliance date and app crashes Disappointed

### 5/5 — Professional

*2020-07-02, version 6.7.6*

Delighted with presentation of certificates

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2020-05-21, version 6.7.6*

Best certification software I have used. Easy to use looks very professional cannot complain about anything.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2019-09-01, version 6.7.3*

Great app.
Easy to use and good piece of software.

### 5/5 — Nowhere to put Polarity result...

*2019-02-06, version 6.2.1*

Great app but when you test extension cables etc you need to do a polarity test. There’s nowhere to put that result. Major flaw needs sorting ASAP I’m sure everyone else has noticed this!

### 5/5 — File to large

*2018-07-31, version 5.2.1*

As much as the new update looks great I’m struggling to send the file as it keeps saying it’s to large. Any way I can change anything at my end?
