It not only gives you the readings and examples of Akanji, but you can also practice writing in the same place. Very useful for people studying for JLPT exam. Great app. I am giving it four star out of five because I wish there was a mood or a feature where apart from categorising the Kanji for JLPT, which is very useful. I also wish there was a categorisation based on what the Kanji’s mean. For example, categorising Kanji that is used for numbers, telling time, physical movements, architecture, vehicles, and stuff like that where you can select that particular category and also learn based on the actions that you do in your daily life. **Developer response:** ありがとう!! It’s not just a monthly payment. There is a one time. *2026-07-25* Old review: I actually love the design with this app. The functionality is great. However, what should be a maybe at most $5 feature, is stuck behind a monthly paywall just to see the definition of the kanji. I have been trying to get rid of every monthly expense I have.
