This provides a resource for me to choreograph my music ahead of time. By doing this, I can have a great class. Everything is on queue and then I can focus on the ride for the participants. Gino is always helpful when it comes to support. He even went as far as doing a zoom meeting so we could get to the bottom of some of my questions. It’s made my role as an instructor much easier and more rewarding. With it, I can reduce the amount of time preparing for a class so I can focus on coaching. I have unique music every class and can do themed classes my clients love. Plus my class is never boring because I can make each song a different type of skill or combination of movements. The support Coach Gino gives is amazing. Highly recommend. And hands down my business has thrived and survived throughout much competition in part to IClass Builder. Synchronized music to all the cues is so smart. No more paperwork! The visual the class gets knowing what to expect is HUGE. User friendly and app developer is also a Spin Instructor so he knows what he’s talking about! I truly enjoy planning my classes and using this tool to seamlessly integrate the music with my cues. Transitioning to the new version took some time to get used to but it’s so easy and versatile. Its a must have for me when teaching my classes. ### 5/5 — Take your instructing to a new level *2019-03-06, version 1.5* I’ve used classbuilder in my classes for several years now. Setting the cues that make up your planned workout in advance allows you to pay better attention the the class and also (if you want) to sync cues with music which my classes love. I also use the projection feature. Participants tell me on a regular basis how much they like that. They tell me that they work harder knowing what is coming instead of waiting until the last song to give everything they have. There is a learning curve, but the tutorial videos are excellent. Make sure to check out those. ### 5/5 — The difference between a good class & a great class *2019-03-06, version 1.5* I absolutely love this app. I had the older version where you could build your class from your phone. Now you need to type in your cues from a lap top, but it works just as well. It really enables me to be on cue with the timing of the music. Thanks so much for your app. I honestly can’t teach with out it! ### 5/5 — Gives you confidence to lead! *2019-03-06, version 1.5* One of the things I dislike is taking a spin class in which it seems the instructor is making stuff up on the fly. I understand there are times when someone fills in last minute but you can easily tell when someone has put some time and thought into their ride. This app helps you do just that. It’s a great way to perfectly choreograph your movements to the music. Once you build up a solid resume of rides, you can then easily copy and paste from your favorites to create better rides. This app has given me the confidence to lead classes and it’s practically a non negotiable for me in that I must have it if I’m going to lead. Thanks for the great app and the hard work you guys put into it! ### 5/5 — The only App you need for teaching Spin. *2019-03-06, version 1.5* I found the predecessor of this app over three years ago when I first started teaching indoor cycling. Both the original and now this new version allow me to create and save all my classes, track the cues for each song and stay organized without the need for paper or index cards. I get they are trying to do more things, but why take away the best part? The ease of writing a class or editing on the fly was my favorite. Without access to a computer this app is useless. Update: what classbuilder originally had - integrated iPhone app, they went backwards in technology where you have to use a computer. More of a hassle than help. It’s faster to write classes on paper.... this devastation happened only to leave room for someone else to come in and snag that platform in a new app. I just downloaded Struct and omg it’s like the old class builder. It really allowed me to plan thoroughly and then rely on the program that I built, knowing the app was going to do the heavy lifting so I could really be in the moment with the class. I wasn’t worried about remembering drills - just focused on delivering them and living in the moment! There are instructional videos for utilizing the app to the greatest degree and I would strongly recommend watching them! I have used other instruction programs that are very common and even integrated into other clubs…but what I think what sets this system apart is that you can save the final profile will all your cues as a pdf - this means you can keep all your own work and are not dependent on the longevity of the app to store all of your profiles created! You can tell this program was created by someone who is an actual cycling instructor. Just to be clear: this app is just for running the profiles you’ve created, the creation itself is done on a separate site and a membership is required….but it’s worth it!! Lastly - I had a login error and the owner/creator of the app reached out personally to help and went above and beyond to get the issue resolved. Would highly recommend to instructor looking for an efficient way to prep and present their classes. ### 5/5 — Best Spin App *2025-01-21, version 3.7.1 (184)* This app is one of its kind; I haven’t found anything like it when I was desperately searching as I entered my spin era. It gives countdowns to the next cue so you can give it to your participants. It makes teaching class so much more fun and less stressful. When there was a bug, they got back me personally and worked so fast to fix it. I’ve been teaching spin for over 25 years and this is by far the best spin app I’ve ever used. ### 5/5 — Best app for cycle instructors *2024-03-08, version 3.5.5 (167)* I searched for a way to get rid of all my paper cue notes that I once used when instructing my indoor cycle classes. I found this app several years ago and now I don't think that I could teach my classes without it. I don't believe there is any other software out there with this level of functionality for providing workout cues synchronized to music. All of my playlists and cues are in the app and I can easily pick a playlist to use or even makeup a new playlist using my existing songs and cues. As mentioned by others, there is a learning curve and I recommend that you tryout the software while watching the instructional videos on the web site. Overall, I am very satisfied with this software and I highly recommend it to all cycling instructors and especially new cycling instructors - Give it a try! Coach Gino is the best and always personally emails if there will be any updates or glitches, which let’s be honest, pretty much all apps will have a hiccup here and there, but this is the only app I have where I get personal communication of any changes along with a chance to write back and get a human response. Thanks, again, for helping me inspire all those in my class through the ability of having my class organized and cues timed. I love how I can also print the PDF of the class instruction as a back up. During its development the usual “growing pains” have occurred but Gene Nacey and his staff have always been available to both hand hold and provide advice and encouragement until a solution was found. I have also been impressed with how easily my students can adapt and understand the classes I present using this product. As an instructor with numerous indoor cycling certifications and over 60 years of indoor and outdoor cycling I routinely state this product is my “gold standard” for indoor and outdoor cycling.
