Developer immediately got back to me with instructions on how to fix the situation. I’m very glad because this is a fantastic app that can accomplish whatever you want. And features have been added over time! **Developer response:** Use Restore button and don't forget to put the stars back! ### 1/5 — Rip Off - purchased in full (was an offer) now demanding another payment *2022-10-29, version 4.68* Purchased the app on phone, then they wanted another payment when I tried to use it on my ipad … it was a one off purchase. Now I ran an update and they have added an ugly watermark and are demanding another payment!! NO WAY - there are other great apps like procreate, and they even have free online tutorials. I will be ditching this one! PS Last time I had the issue I wrote to the creators and they completely ignored me! So am not wasting my time this time, and jumped straight to this review. (additional - one week post above comment) I just heard from the developer - 2 years after I first contacted her … not sure if it was this comment or the one I left on Instagram that prompted it - in short she tried to tell me that I am an idiot. Nice one! I won’t be supporting people like her. Will never buy apps by her and will make sure everyone I know knows about her attitude. Katerina you get a lot further by being a little helpful, rather than ignoring people and then being rude. I love this app. The developer really tries to improve it to keep up with the latest. It’s really worth it. This is one app I always go to. It’s really very helpful and it will do wonders in your artwork. It’s all there, all in one. IColorama S has many outstanding features which I have been using on a daily basis (worthy of 5 stars) but unfortunately it is currently UNUSABLE, as a result of a watermarked wheel image which has appeared, along with a prompt to upgrade to IColorama Pro. I can find no details about IColorama Pro online. The real issue of course is that I can no longer use IColorama S, the app which I paid for. I have tried emailing Icolorama support but with NO response. If I could do one thing for the rest of my life it would use this app. I love it! Been using it for years for a number of different purposes in my artistic endeavors. Does it have its quirks… absolutely. But as someone who believes creativity thrives on boundaries this is the perfect piece of software. It leaves a lot to explore just by playing with the features the app offers. I was a fun app to use and stylizing but will not pay for it twice and never a subscription for me. Rather than re-write it & taking more of my time, I highly recommend it: It’s intuitive Tutorials are unnecessary for artists who are experienced in art & graphic programs Lots of tools Check out a variety of the tools: Presets, Styles & Effects offer some amazing features. Effects has various layering options & Styles has flattening options. keep in mind that there are additional selections to choose from when clicking on a tool. Take time to explore & play around with the tools. There are many options & you can create a variety of options & styles - I have created a variety styles: check out my Instagram page for a small (large) selection of how I utilise IColourama: @FelisFelidaeFae 😺 No Subscription!! You purchase the program without worrying about a subscription fees each month & losing material because your subscription lapsed. Many substantial programs like Photoshop require subscription. I haven’t experienced crashing, even when exporting. Works really well with Darkroom Minor quibbles: No zoom/detail options Difficulty masking out background or unwanted objects. No foreground, background & depth masking to enhance depth & focal point in pictures. I need to use the program Darkroom along w/IColourama Apple Pencil doesn’t cause lag, but doesn’t take full advantage of the program. It’s specifically for still images, not for animation. I’ve paid too much for apps that do too little, and I’ve paid a little for apps that don’t do much. But this app contains so many features that I constantly discover and that continually delight me, that I have never experienced in an app. It’s worth every penny. I would like to see a couple of things change that would bring it closer to perfection: better undo, and a better way to return to the original image without having to exit from the tool I’m using. There are SO many choices, you can create unusual images in a flash. I feel there's a learning curve, but it's worth it if you want eye-catching art pieces. I've had this app for years.
