Poor show, totally messed up my whole setup. ### 1/5 — Utter Trash *2019-06-17, version 4.2.7* Possibly the most useless iOS application ever created (for what is generally a handy piece of audio gear). In the past it occasionally worked. Now (June 2019) occasionally the app recognizes the iOS device but certainly cannot make a connection with the hardware despite what the app reports. I get a blank screen after it tries to connect and it often simply crashes. I contacted the support team. The response was that the app is no longer supported. The only saving grace is the interface can be set up from a computer (set and forget...kind of workable). BTW, the Auracle app for MacOS is garbage too, be sure to use the older iConfig software if you want any actual configurability. ### 1/5 — A HUGE LET DOWN! *2019-05-13, version 4.2.7* I bought the iConnectAudio4+ for live performance and quick audio routing and unfortunately it doesn't work with my iPad Pro. Et en plus des déconnexions intempestives de la carte audio... je teste sur MacBook et je me raviserai s’il s’agit plus d’un problème lié à la carte audio qu’à cette app. ### 1/5 — As of January 2019 this doesn’t work for new iOS *2019-01-04, version 4.2.7* My brand new iConnect Audio 2 is USELESS for what I bought it for, which was as a robust solidly built in and out +midi for my iPad. This configuration software does not work and causes apps to crash. I will now return the hardware and buy something else. Hope I can save someone else the trouble, but probably not if you are already here...sorry. ### 1/5 — Leider Müll *2018-12-12, version 4.2.7* Das Interface Audio 4+ bietet tolle Möglichkeiten, die sich aber vernünftig nur in fer Kombination mit einem Rechner nutzen lassen. Mit 2 iPads ist ein egfektives Audio Routing mit dieser App praktisch nicht möglich. Sehr schade!! Am Mac ist das mittlerweile mit der Auracle App gut gelöst. Dadurch kann ich keinen Stern verteilen. ### 1/5 — Not working since the new iOS update *2017-04-08, version 4.1.1* The new 10.3 iPad update has made the device not recognizable and the device is useless to me. I had to manipulate my tracks to work out of the headphones and it was really inconvenient. I hope this gets fixed soon because I love the device, but as of right now it is just a door stop. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2025-09-03, version 4.2.7* I’m literally using the device through my DAW but the software says that it can’t find the device. I’ve quit the DAW just to make sure there isn’t a conflict, and it still doesn’t see the device. I’d love to be able to get a better visual of the outputs and inputs and be able to control it on my Mac. The iConnect 4 is a pain to get to in the rack and the UI on the front panel is just ok. ### 1/5 — No Funciona *2022-07-03, version 4.2.7* Hola, no sé qué habrá pasado, pero con la nueva actualización de ipad os, la app ha dejado de funcionar. Please make an update, please 🙏 ### 1/5 — Hack for Interface *2022-06-21, version 4.2.7* This app sucks…. But I found a workaround to using the app for all those who have an Audio4c and trying to only use ipad. Set up your custom mix using a computer with the Auracle software so that its setup for ipad in the mixes page! So I plugin my ipad to USB2 and I setup the mix for USB2 out1&2 to 0 gain and hardware save it by either in the software or however you can save it on the interface display in the manual. Then once you unplug your laptop the settings will be saved so you can hear the ipad. I even unplugged the interface and repowered, the saved preset will launch. Not the best solution, but everything else can be tweaked on the interface touch display, so setup what you need for outputs, setup your inputs if they need high z or something and save it. Hopefully the devs one day might bring a new app to build up this community. Understand the app is no longer supported by the developers. Very disappointing. And seems the developers don’t spend much time on the PC version either. So better stay away from iConnectivity altogether. I wasn’t that bothered as I was able to configure on my pc instead and everything worked fine between pc, Roland SH-01 and iPad Pro. However, today I was working minus pc so tried downloading it to my iPad again and ... hey presto ... all works fine !!??. Only thing I can think of is while it was connected to pc I updated the iConnectAudio4+ firmware, maybe that made it visible to the iPad app ?. Oh well all’s well that ends well 👍. ### 5/5 — Finally fixed! *2016-07-14, version 4.1.1* I have had this on my iPad 3 and it would not work. It would not go to any tabs, just back to the main screen. Well this update fixed this. All functions are available on my iPad3. Well, other than storing and loading settings, which can only be done from the computer. Changes in the iPad are reflected on the computer, albeit with a small delay. Changes from the computer are also reflected on the iPad. Basically support is ended for iConnectAudio4+ interface on iPad. Unfortunate when the interface was original as the ipad gold standard interface. It would be much better if the Auracle app for iPadOS was made available for the iConnectAudio4+ interface instead. Just for the quick changes on Direct Monitoring it would be great. iConfig is great for complex MIDI/Audio configuration if its still working. For everyday audio recording its hard work. Auracle would be magic. Please make it happen! ### 2/5 — Not Yet Fixed for Me *2016-12-04, version 4.1.1* Just getting initial use with an iPad Pro and an iConnect Audio 2+, but multiple actions drop you out of the app - for instance, sometimes just selecting the Audio tab does it, and once on the audio tab, every time I try and select the Headphone tab kills the app. I need to try some other configurations and setups; this is with the iPad Pro plugged into my MacBook Pro, and the iConnect Audio2+ also into the MacBook Pro.
