### 2/5 — Works when it feels like it

*2023-10-02, version 1.13*

Which isn’t often. Maybe after a few reboots, but maybe not. Infuriating. Makes it very difficult to reconfigure what is otherwise a fairly decent interface. Massive time waster. 10/10 would not buy again.

### 2/5 — Really wish it was as good as the hype

*2021-10-01, version 1.13*

Got an Iconnect midi2+ but without a mac it's not as useful as it seems. Was looking at upgrading but since the apps don't update I doubt I'll continue with the brand.

### 3/5 — Please update the app!

*2019-10-27, version 1.13*

Works on iPad Air running 12.4.2.

Does not work on iPad Pro 10.5 running 13.2.

Using with iconnectMIDI4.

Problems: app crashes at launch, sometimes cannot find the iconnectmidi 4, sometimes it finds the device but gets a “connection lost” error after selecting the deice.

Please update the app!

### 1/5 — Total junk

*2019-09-10, version 1.13*

Connects 1 out of 25 tries... same junk on the pc, keeps having crashes and other problems. The whole thing was a great idea but the weak software makes it total junk.

### 1/5 — Communication lost

*2019-07-07, version 1.13*

Impossible from iPad or iPhone to have the setup of my mio10 via this application....noway

### 1/5 — Junk

*2019-06-30, version 1.13*

Don’t waste your time with this app or iConnectivity hardware. No longer supported by the developer. Crashes regularly, essentially useless.

### 1/5 — Connection lost

*2019-05-11, version 1.13*

They must have dropped support for old iconnect devices.

### 1/5 — Can’t find interface. Then connection lost.

*2019-03-16, version 1.13*

I’m glad I checked here. I thought my device or cable had an issue. Turns out the app doesn’t work. Although I guess it could be a hardware issue since iOS has to go through the app.

Disappointing. Reviewer yTunes must be a shill, because this is not an amateur over here. This is a bad app. Hard to get past a device not being found by the software made to find it.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2018-09-30, version 1.13*

Doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Entirely unreliable

*2018-07-23, version 1.13*

When it works it’s great. But, It will will not actually connect more than 1 in 50 connections. As another user mentioned the only reliable connection is with a laptop. A very disappointing software interface for an otherwise great hardware device.

### 1/5 — Lost connections

*2018-06-09, version 1.13*

Perds la connections avec iPad 2018

### 1/5 — Complete waste of an app

*2018-04-06, version 1.13*

It simply doesn’t work. You can’t connect your interface to this app. It just won’t let you do it.

### 1/5 — Keine Verbindung

*2018-03-09, version 1.13*

### 1/5 — Lame.

*2018-01-30, version 1.13*

Doesn’t work. Just doesn’t effing work. What the hell?!

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2017-08-06, version 1.13*

If I could give it less than one star I would. As far as I can tell the app simply doesn't work. I purchased an iPad Pro and bought the iconnectivity4+ to use for backing tracks. After a bunch of jumping through various hoops I managed to borrow a MacBook so I could upgrade the firmware on the actual interface, I did this in hopes that it would make the iconfig app actually work. No luck. It recognizes that there is an interface attached, but when you try to change settings the app either closes or says "connection lost." So in order to change settings I have to borrow a MacBook from a friend. Frustrating, considering my primary reason for purchasing was because of its IOS compatibility.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Keine Verbindung

*2026-06-02, version 1.13*

Keine Verbindung trotz neuem iPad

### 1/5 — Abandonware

*2026-04-12, version 1.13*

### 1/5 — Abandonware

*2023-07-25, version 1.13*

Good hardware , bad software. This app make my Audio4c obsolete. Thanks for Auracle on iPad

### 1/5 — Keine Funktion, stürzt dauern ab

*2022-06-14, version 1.13*

Die App stürzt ständig ab. Anfangs ging’s zeitweise.

### 1/5 — This app doesn’t work any more

*2021-10-17, version 1.13*

It detects my iConnectMIDI4+ but crashes when I tap on it.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t see the drive at all

*2021-09-14, version 1.13*

Rubbish non-functioning app

### 1/5 — Crashes every time

*2020-11-28, version 1.13*

This app should help with quickly setting up iConnectAudio devices, but it constantly crashes, does not adapt the settings and since upgrading to iOS 14.2 it does not even open anymore.

### 1/5 — Mostly not working

*2020-02-09, version 1.13*

I am on ios 13 on a new iPad air and the app, when it recognises my midi interface and I press it, crashes 19 out of 20 times.
Please fix this.

### 1/5 — Hopeless

*2019-11-26, version 1.13*

How is it that every other app is able to see the interface and use it and yet even after rescanning over 50 times, rebooting the device, rebooting the iPad, reinstalling the programme, using a different cables using a different port this has failed to see it correctly once. I have two of these interfaces and this software is shockingly bad. Iconfig on the PC is even worse. Auricle just about works but won’t let you patch anything I.e. it connects but it’s crippled. Come on ! Sort it out!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Amazing app! Amateurs write bad reviews.

*2019-01-30, version 1.13*

Everything works as claimed and is an amazing piece of gear. App works just fine.

Every bad review is written by someone who doesn’t understand routing or apples midi. A little homework and testing would behoove those who are about to quite after the first time trying it. Don’t just throw your hands up in infuriation and give the app/device a bad review.

Thank you iconnectivity4+

### 5/5 — Keine Verbindung unter IOS11.3.1 fixed mit IOS11.4

*2018-06-06, version 1.13*

Keine Ahnung was Apple da geändert hat.

### 5/5 — Update?

*2017-04-10, version 1.1.1*

Wann kommt ein Update für iOS 10.3?
Sonst eine gute App zum Konfigurieren.

### 5/5 — Audio Pass Through Great for Multiple iOS Devices and Desktop Computer

*2014-09-29, version 1.1.1*

The MIDI routing and filtering option are phenomenal! I see that I gave this five stars to begin with but now want to change my original review because I was wrong about some things. I purchased the iConnect MIDI4+ lately, in addition to the MIDI2+ I already had. I have both connected to a Mac so I have routing between the two devices, as well. The functions I felt were missing before are actually available, they just weren't documented well in the manual. The manual stated that you could have audio pass through either on or off, but didn't clarify that you could have audio in on and audio out off, so that it went to the headphones on the iOS device. However, someone on a forum posted how to do it. So, I'm good. This app is great. I own both the MIDI2+ and the MIDI4+. A version that also had audio in like a standard audio interface would be nice because when one uses this on an iPad, you can't record from an external source. I saw that iConnectivity has something in the works and maybe that will be it.

### 5/5 — Friendlier than the PC version.

*2014-05-06, version 1.1.1*

I'm starting to use this more than the PC version. When I got my long awaited iConnectMIDI4+ I had used the PC version at first but have since switched to the iPad app. It just seems more natural and intuitive. BTW iCM4+ is the best piece of MIDI hardware to come out since the invention of the Thru Box.

### 4/5 — Worked!

*2020-06-21, version 1.13*

Finally I was able to prevent the iConnectMIDI2+ from muting audio output from my iOS device (iPad Pro with USB-C)!

### 4/5 — Beschreibung in deutscher Sprache

*2017-04-20, version 1.1.1*

### 4/5 — Please Update but amazing

*2017-02-26, version 1.1.1*

Please update the app pleaseee

### 3/5 — Not iOS 16 compatible

*2022-12-06, version 1.13*

Please update the app, I can‘t use my iConnectAudio2+ properly without, since I only have iPads and no Computer.

### 3/5 — Works with issues, needs love.

*2021-10-31, version 1.13*

Needs to be restarted continuously to see device, does not work through an usb hub.

But does work.. needs a tech hug and a round of bug fixes.
