Even finding upcoming appointments is harder than it should be - going through a few steps of booking a new appointment to see existing ones makes no sense at all. Once I eventually managed to get to my appointment, the counsellor was lovely and really helpful. A real shame that the app is a barrier, rather than a useful resource, for people trying to get the help they need. ### 1/5 — Awful app and service *2024-07-11, version 4.3.8* I had a video appointment booked and contacted the online chat to find out how to join as there was no video link to join or instructions. I was advised to wait on the app and a counsellor would send a link to me, which seemed bizarre. As anticipated, this didn’t happen at the appointment time. I tried to contact online chat again but realised you can’t multi task between the chat window and the schedule so I was concerned I’d miss the link if it was sent to me on the app. I phoned the helpline who eventually put me through to the counsellor, but by that point I was so frustrated I didn’t feel like talking. Utterly pointless, will be advising my employer to look for an alternative provider. The experience using the app made me feel worse rather than better. ### 1/5 — I would give this app a 0 stars if I could. *2024-05-21, version 4.3.7* I would give this app a 0 stars if I could. This is a meant to be a psycholical counseling app, and twice now I’ve showed up for my meeting and been told I missed it, although no one ever called me. I wasted 30 minutes, both times, waiting for my session to commence and it never did. The navigation is super unintuitive and when you request support via video call, the video feed cuts out. Very terrible ux, for an app that’s meant to deal with people looking to open up.. ### 1/5 — Can’t Join Scheduled Appointment *2024-04-14, version 4.3.4* I made my first scheduled appointment for today. I couldn’t work out how to join and after trying different things over 35 minutes I have had to give up. I’ve rebooked and appointment for next weekend - hopefully it works as was very disappointing. ### 1/5 — Appointment field doesn’t work 😮‍💨 *2024-04-12, version 4.3.4* When you login in the app, you go to the appointment field and you start the process to get an spot with a professional, and once you are in the last stage, it shows an error and doesn’t let you proceed. It still does not allow me to create an account and has the password directions highlighted. Each time I use it, it forgets my password and requires me to set a new password. The option to send an “instant message” directs you to an unending “loading screen.” There is no obvious way to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Beyond disappointing. This is a resource that is supposed to connect you to support, but instead it just leaves me increasingly frustrated. This is the worst app I have ever used. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No show counsellor *2026-03-20, version 4.5.9* My counsellor didn’t show up - I received appointment reminders from the app and was rather upset that I’d intentionally set aside time for the call only for it to be wasted time. I was looking forward to getting some counselling help… there doesn’t seem to be any function to provide feedback on such issues, please work on it developer ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2025-07-24, version 4.5.5* I wasn’t able to connect with the therapist, the app is useless, not intuitive at all the instructions are unclear. ### 1/5 — Password reset loop *2025-05-27, version 4.5.4* Thre is a false reset password loop. I’m sure I’ve never used those new strings of password but it seems the app kept registered them as previously used. It's to the extent that I started typed in random number and symbols yet the app thought those were registered password?! Tried a search for articles about stress, and came up with nothing (?) Tried a few more searches, and realized that the search is clunky. All the articles are grouped into categories, so you have to search for a category, then if you find one that matches your search, you must run a second search based on sub category. What it really needs is an open search that finds all articles with a keyword, instead of forcing a search by category ### 2/5 — Bug fixes *2025-02-17, version 4.5.3* App really needs improving, considering it’s a counselling app- I can’t even use it! I’ve logged in, signed up and yet it keeps coming up with a privacy notice which I accept then, saying I have new notifications (I have none since I can’t even use it) and it won’t let me use the homepage and access any of the actually facilities. ### 2/5 — Weird experience : fix tech and scripts gaps *2023-06-23, version 4.1.1* 1. Instant messages do not support multi-tasking - if you need to quickly open another app, your conversation will be closed and you can only start a new one, possibly with a new person. 2. The counsellor asked for a lot of personal information (including DOB and phone number) just to share with me a toll-free number where I can seek further help.
