The only things they should need is: Me paying 70$ for the camera, and allowed to connect to wifi (IF i choose to allow that rather than use my encrypted vpn..) and to be able to ADD photos or videos to my camera roll, that myself and only myself physically set up or engage myself, to do so. Ингода, после выгрузки записанных фалов прекращается запись. Восстановить ее можно только путём перезагрузки камеры, очень неудобно. После этого сбрасывается заданный пароль и войти в камеру можно только с помощью предустановленного пароля. The app essentially ends when phone goes to sleep. so if you are monitoring, you have to continuously tap your screen so your phone doesn’t go to sleep. Not sure why they are not making this update. It streams live so I’d love to give it a 5 stars (I guess I gave it 5 on Amazon or eBay) but there’s a big problem with recording and taking pictures of the live (I do have the card inserted). Each time I’m away, or even at home, and I’m trying to record any video it tells me “do not get the appropriate permissions, please open and try again”. Well, I tried million times to reset it and it still doesn’t work. IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED or I’ll go back and leave a 1 star. Update, im leaving one star because they are deaf to that what people/costumers are telling them. Are you willing to fix the app??? More importantly, the process for connecting the camera to WiFi is not intuitive; 2 different PWs from the booklet and multiple steps are required in order to connect successfully to LAN WiFi. I suspect that the poor reviews regarding the inability to connect to WiFi are based on users’ failure to follow the multi-step setup process as described in the booklet. Once connected to a LAN WiFi, the camera works great even in almost zero light. Excellent picture and access thru the app. If the camera is kept “online” the battery life is only 4 to 5 hrs even if set to standby mode awaiting “movement” to trigger recording.
