A similarly named book in a series of "pearls" should have been the basis for this app. I am surprised the title was allowed for this app. May be good for the PAs and ICU RNs. Unfortunately, I have not seen a new tip/pearl since buying this app. The app has promise, and would be very useful if they provided up to date information based upon the most recent changes in evidence based practice. Worthless to reread tips from 2006. There have been a lot of changes over 8 years. For the cost I would not expect a brand new post every day, but I would expect a daily tip that includes new posts as well as occasional repeats of previous tips that support practices affecting medical care today.
