It has multiple bugs in it. It’s a shame my installer struggled too much h to make it work, still doesn’t work properly. ### 1/5 — Update doesn’t work *2025-09-05* The app no longer even opens since the newest update. This app is outdated for any IOS users and the provider doesn’t have a solution. I would avoid purchasing any product from this company. They are not trustworthy nor do they apparently care about the quality of service they provide to their customers. ### 1/5 — Unreliable notifications. *2024-08-30* Sometimes they work. Most of the time they don’t. Tech support unable to solve problems after years of engagement. I regret selecting ICrealtime ### 1/5 — Not useable and when it is, flip a coin and hope for the best… *2023-11-11* It’s so disappointing that in today’s world of useable and intuitive apps available in all sectors that ICRealtime+ is unacceptable to try to use. I highly recommend not even trying to use this platform. ### 1/5 — Unreliable *2023-10-21, version 1.2* I downloaded this app so many times thinking it might work. Unfortunately, it is not reliable. ### 1/5 — Very Unstable *2023-10-11* Very Unstable. I installed the App many times and installed it to load the channels back, however, when I reinstalled the App, I lost all the settings that I had. It does not keep the previous settings! It does not seem to have a “Log off” button. I turned the iPhone off/on to load the channels but they load up to about 97% & stop. IC Realtime has excellent devices but they need to improve the functionality of this App. I didn't even test to see if it works when I'm out of my Wi-Fi network; like being on 5G. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Software that fails the hardware *2026-07-31* This product line is proof that superior hardware cannot make up for poor software. This app is maddening and completely inconsistent in how it behaves. Navigating even a simple 2 camera set up is an exercise in frustration. Spend more time trying to navigate the feeds than actually viewing footage. Awful. Even worse considering how much we spent for the entire set up. ### 1/5 — Last update rendered this app and camera system unusable *2025-11-29* This used to work great. Camera system came with new construction house as a pretty cheap add on. Should have waited and installed my own. Thank goodness I have a Ring system as well. The last update to this app has made it totally unusable. Alerts never come, when you try to view recorded events it just skips ahead making it inaccessible. Sad part is, this app used to work. The update they did a few months ago ruined it. Developer doesn't respond to anything. App no longer works properly on iPad in landscape mode. Device alerts banner blocks a good portion of the bottom of the screen even when minimized and we can’t get it to go away. Seriously considering upgrading my whole system just to get away from needing to use this app. Completely disappointed. Please fix it. This makes watching my stores impossible when not connected which is a huge issue. Many improvements *2025-09-11* I love the app but events were a little delayed or inconsistent. This new update solves this issue. Event notifications are instant and stay in the alert center. Plus there is a cool new account system that lets me save all my devices with an email account. ### 5/5 — Camera cuz *2025-09-10* Amazing app great playback amazing notifications ### 5/5 — Easy setup *2024-09-08, version 1.3* I was amazed how easy it was to setup the whole system. The iPhone app just worked, point camera at P2P code and see the camera view. ### 5/5 — Not a DIY app. *2023-11-03* We are an ICR Dealer and one aspect we love is ICR Intelligent cameras and recorders are NDAA & TIAA compliant. Meaning no Chinese chipset or manufacturing in China. This app is much improved over rival apps in the marketplace. This isn’t a DIY app, you need to know what you are doing. 10 year warranty from ICR on their equipment makes them stand above all the rest. Professional AND lifetime end user support included. ### 3/5 — Alert loading issues *2025-03-21* The alert notification doesn’t always load. It will get stuck on 98% then the app just shuts down or the replay icon appears. When you try to replay it stops loading at the same place. The loading time also takes a long time. The app also does not list all of the alert notifications. ### 3/5 — Push notifications *2024-10-22* Push notifications don’t always work nor properly show up in the calendar to review. ### 3/5 — Developer, please disable automatic close *2023-11-25* Would give 5 stars except for one issue. We like to have the app pulled up on our iPad 24/7 so we can always monitor our security cameras around our house, however the app automatically closes or times out. We have the iPad set to never auto lock, so it’s the app that automatically times out seemingly after having it open for a certain amount of time - making us have to reopen the app up every day, when we’d wish it could just stay open without “timing out” or automatically closing. Developer, could you please allow this app to be open 24/7 for whatever duration we please without automatically closing? Our last security camera app allowed this and it would be great if this one does. Thanks! ### 2/5 — Subpar *2026-07-11* The cameras are good. The app is terrible. The user experience is not good - menus are hard to navigate, settings are hard to find and not logically laid out. Login problems are persistent. ### 2/5 — NOT user friendly at all *2025-12-23* I spent all this money getting cameras installed around the exterior of my property and I’m finding the data from them is almost impossible to access. Even the tech who helped with the installation had real trouble figuring out how to access different features. The help articles are useless unless you are an IT pro and the hoops you have to go through to find anything or to change settings makes it very difficult or impossible to use. I am so disappointed when other apps for services like Blink are so easy to navigate. It makes me really regret the entire purchase.
