创始人说:
当时创立这个品牌的初衷其实很简单，感觉随着电商越来越成熟，网上的货品越来越丰富，买衣服却越来越困难。同一张图好多种价格，同一个价格好多个卖家，不知道如何选择；更不要说收到货品后图货不匹配，损失的是一天的好心情。

实体店呢，老气横秋的品牌在打折，精致的时髦款贴着拒人千里之外的价格，还真有点看得上的买不起，买得起的看不上的滑稽感。所以真的没有办法好好的买一些质地上乘，价格合理的衣服么。所以，我们想创造一个这样的渠道，用合适的价格买到合适的衣服，为我自己，也为我的朋友们。

在这条不断深入服饰供应链的路上，我渐渐有了更多超出我想象的发现，也渐渐有了超越‘找到好衣服’的使命感。首先，我发现“中国制造”掌握着世界上最先进和效率的制造资源，几乎支撑全球一半以上的知名品牌的生产。如果这个现象大家不意外，那么如果说，中国的设计能力也支撑了大量国际和国内品牌的发展是否会让他们跌破眼镜。说实话，当我在很多的设计工作室和showroom看到这么多出色的设计的时候，我很难想象他们都是出自中国本土设计师的手，请原谅我的偏见。他们中的一些被冠上了国际国内大牌的商标，以10倍以上的价格傲娇地呈现在了品牌店铺，更多的因为没有销售渠道永远只是一件样板。哦，这里有必要提醒下，原来很多品牌很多衣服不是原创设计的，通过外采的方式组织的，呵呵。

甚至，在我看来，很多更加时尚的设计被留下，我想不通。设计师给我四个字：订货会啊。于是我又跑去订货会看了，我懂了，来自全国各地的70后甚至更年长的店长们带着一个90后的姑娘决定了品牌下一季的货品。这简直太可怕了，一个品牌的核心是品味，品味是一个难以清晰表达又能明确感知的存在。但是，在这个生态里最有品味的设计师和买手是没有货品决定权的。所以我下定决心，要做一个渠道，让中国的好设计可以重见天日，让品味用正确的方式由正确的人来打开。

所以有了ICY，中国设计师集合平台，让每件作品都以设计师——他真正的创作者的名义发布，让每件衣服脱离品牌和她的高议价，让真正懂她的人可以细细品味。
