For example I wanted to find out if my plan includes data roaming in Majorca. I kept being redirected to links on the website that didn’t know who I was and just community FAQS. The my plan bit shows my number and the basics. ### 3/5 — My 30gb roaming abroad didn’t apply for two months *2026-07-08, version 6.26.0* I spoke with a lovely guy called Ray who confirmed my 30gb roaming hadn’t applied to my account. I think he’s now got that rectified but I’m still waiting for confirmation that the incorrect billing for this month and last will be rectified. The idMobile app simply hangs the process. So does the website. Thus, the supplier of this app does not appear to bother supporting it. Something worth recalling if you’re tempted to use Currys. ### 1/5 — Customer service *2026-08-29, version 6.29.0* Very poor customer service and management/ response to network issues abroad ### 1/5 — CALLING WHILE IN CANADA *2026-08-27, version 6.29.0* We were on holiday in Canada for 3 weeks and unable to make any calls. I was unable to increase my cap limit beyond £25. I was unable to speak to anyone at iD mobile. Every time I tried to make a call I was told I had reached my cap limit, even after depositing funds in my account. It was lucky I didn’t have an emergency and had to make an emergency call. The free roaming/data usage in 50 destinations just like at home is amazing, especially if you travel often. Add data rollover, a super easy-to-use app, and straightforward service, and it’s honestly hard to beat. It feels like iD Mobile has actually designed its product around what customers want — simple, flexible and great value.
