## What is ID Scanner?

ID Scanner for bars, clubs, and events. Point at a license barcode or tap a passport chip — get age, expiry, and a clear pass or deny.

Built for the door, not the back office. No extra hardware. No birthday math in the dark.

SCAN A LICENSE IN UNDER A SECOND
Point the camera at the PDF417 barcode on a US or Canadian driver’s license or state ID. Age, name, expiry, and document type come back immediately so the line keeps moving.

TAP A PASSPORT CHIP
Hold a passport to the top of iPhone and read the NFC chip. MRZ support covers travel documents when a barcode is not available.

INSTANT AGE GATE
Set your venue minimum — 18, 19, 21, or custom. Underage and expired IDs show a full-screen deny you can read at arm’s length.

BANS, VIPS, PASS-BACKS
Flag banned guests and mark VIPs. The same ID coming back through the door inside your pass-back window gets an alert. Optional visitor limit counts down on every pass.

TONIGHT’S LOG
See scans, denies, and recent checks. Export CSV for incident reports. Share the watchlist or log to a nearby staff phone when you change doors.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Scanning stays on the device. Built for door staff who need speed and a record — not a cloud account.

HONEST LIMITS
This app decodes barcode, MRZ, and passport-chip data and applies your age gate. It does not query a DMV database and cannot prove a plastic card is genuine. Admission decisions stay with your venue.

Subscriptions unlock unlimited scans and Pro tools such as CSV export. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Account Settings.
