## What is 西游记?

《西游记》是中国古典四大名著之一，是由明代小说家吴承恩所创作的中国古代第一部浪漫主义的长篇神魔小说。主要描写了贞观年间孙悟空、猪八戒、沙僧、白龙马四人保护唐僧西行取经，沿途遇到九九八十一难，一路降妖伏魔，化险为夷，最后到达西天，取得真经的故事。

本故事由孙敬修老先生播讲，语言通俗易懂、自然亲切、形象生动。
故事从“石猴出世”讲起，一直到唐僧师徒四人取得真经返回大唐，精彩片断贯穿始终。

书中讲述唐三藏师徒五人西天取经的故事，表现了惩恶扬善的古老主题。《西游记》成书于16世纪明朝中叶，自问世以来在中国及世界各地广为流传，被翻译成多种语言。
