My shopping experience at Puyang Hema today was an absolute disaster. After paying, I was stopped by security at the exit and forced to queue up for an inspection! The security guard rummaged through my shopping bags and checked every single item against my receipt. Excuse me? I came here to shop, not to go through airport-style security! Treating customers like potential thieves is extremely offensive and uncomfortable. What's even more shocking is that everyone around me just numbly accepted this invasion of privacy.
