## What is 佛光教科書?

《佛光教科書》是  星雲大師就《佛教叢書》的內容摘要，撰述成十二冊，以作為佛學院的教學教材。此套書，隨課文的內容、性質，配置精選的文物圖片，使讀者能圖文對照來閱讀。這套教科書的內容，具有佛教的基本教理、佛教從印度到中國的流傳史、中國佛教各宗派介紹、佛門基本的規矩制度、菩薩道的行持、佛法在世間的應用、各宗教的介紹及佛教高僧著作的詩偈等，不但是學佛者的入門寶典，更是佛學最佳的基本教材。在每一冊的內容，皆有其特點：將其內容、圖片、註解，一一加以編輯；讓讀者能隨意、隨時、方便的應用資料與閱讀，是學佛者不可缺少的入門寶典。
