هو أحمد بن ناصر بن علي بن شايع بن حمد بن محمد الزمامي المسعري الدوسري ولد في عام 1339هـ في محافظة الزلفي، وهو شاعر مخضرم من عمالقة شعراء النظم والمحاورة.



حياته والشعر:
نشأ وترعرع في محافظة الزلفي ، بدأ بكتابة الشعر منذ أن كان عمره 14 سنة، عرف عنه أنه من نجوم شعر المحاورة ولقب بأمير شعراء المحاورة وبدأ أول محاوراته في محافظة القريات ( قريات الملح سابقًا )، وبعد ذلك مع كثير من عمالقة شعر المحاورة في نجد في جيله أمثال عبدالله اللويحان و علي أبو ماجد وناصر بن سرحان الشيباني وعلي القري وخلف بن هذال العتيبي و عبدالله البحر وزبن بن عمير وأحمد الناصر السكران وعواد بن فرج النادر وسعود بن دخيل العواد وغيرهم، وكانت هذه المرحلة الأولى ، ومن ثم التقى مع عدد من شعراء الحجاز أمثال محمد الجبرتي وعلي بن عايد النفيعي وطلق الهذيلي وبركات الهذيلي وعبادل المالكي، وبعد ذلك بفترة زمنية التقى  مطلق الثبيتي ورشيد الزلامي وصياف الحربي ومستور العصيمي وسليمان العويس وعبدالعزيز البادي وحمد المغيولي و غيرهم الكثير ، ومن شعراء الخليج مرشد البذال وابنه عبدالله وجعيلان الدغباسي وسالم بن تويم الدواي ولعب المحاورة أيضا مع ابنه الأكبر محمد ( رحمه الله )، وشعراء محاورة أمثال سلطان الهاجري وعبدالله بن شايق وحبيب العازمي العتيبي وسعود الكريزي البقمي والحميدي الحربي وسعود الجمعان المطيري وآخرين.
	•	قضى قرابة ٧٧ عاما من عمره في مزاولة الشعر، حتى أن بعض الشعراء الذين مروا عليه في ساحة المحاورة أعدوه مدرسة للشعر الشعبي نظما ومحاورة .
	•	يتمتع بصوت عذب أضفى على شعره الكثير من المميزات والخصائص التي لا تتوفر لغيره .
	•	توفي رحمه الله بتاريخ ١٤٣٨/٠٤/١٠ هـ.



التكريم:
	•	تم تكريمه في أكثر من مناسبة وحصل على جائزة المفتاحة في الريادة بالشعر الشعبي من قِبَل أمير منطقة عسير صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير خالد الفيصل آنذاك . 
	•	تم تكريمه من قبل صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير فيصل بن خالد أمير منطقة عسير ولقبه بأمير شعراء المحاورة .
