## What is 徒步天下?

北京国际山地徒步大会是经北京市政府批准的第一个国际化山地品牌体育活动，是首都北京建设有中国特色的世界城市和国际化体育中心城市，打造山区群众性国际品牌体育活动，提升北京国际地位和影响力的一项重要举措。是继北京成功推出北京马拉松、中国网球公开赛、斯诺克中国公开赛三大国际品牌赛事之后推出的又一国际精品赛事。2013年5月，北京国际山地徒步大会正式加入国际徒步联盟，成为国际徒步联盟第29个注册会员，为首都建设国际体育中心城市和中国特色世界城市做出了贡献。
