## What is 香港文憑試中國語文科?

學習領域定位

中國語文是學習各門學問的基礎。中國語文學習必須在學生的母語基礎上發展。語文教育的主要任務是要提高學生運用語言的能力，要學生掌握規範的書面語，能說流利的粵語和能以普通話溝通，同時感受語言文字之美，培養語文學習的興趣，發展高層次思維能力和良好思維素質，得到審美、品德的培育和文化的薰陶，以美化人格，促進全人發展。

中國語文教育學習領域的課程宗旨為：

(1)	提高讀寫聽說能力、思維能力、審美能力和自學能力；
(2)	培養語文學習的興趣、良好的語文學習態度和習慣；
(3)	培養審美情趣，陶冶性情；
(4)	培養品德，加強對社群的責任感；
(5)	體認中華文化，培養對國家、民族的感情。
 
中國語文教育的課程是要讓學生獲得全面而均衡的語文學習經歷，並循以下方向發展：
*	提升語文素養
*	開放學習材料，重視經典閱讀
*	拓寬閱讀面，增加閱讀量，提升閱讀深度
*	配合資訊科技教育的發展，提升語文學與教的成效
*	進一步加強評估促進學習的作用
*	照顧學生學習語文的多樣性
*	按校本需要及條件推動「用普通話教中文」
*	提供更多實踐普通話的機會，加強自學
