السنة الشريفة المتمثلة بأحاديث الرسول الأعظم(ص) وأهل بيته الكرام(ع) تشكل ثاني مصادر التشريع بعد القرآن الكريم.
هذه الأحاديث الشريفة بعد أن مرّت بعلميات البحث والتمحيص جمعها علماؤنا الماضون على مر العصور في موسوعات مختلفة حتى أصبحت سهلة المنال لمن يريد أن ينهل من نميرها العذب.
من أفضل الموسوعات التي صنفت في هذا المجال هو كتاب (وسائل الشيعة لتحصيل مسائل الشريعة) للمحدث الكبير والفقيه الجليل الشيخ الحر العاملي(قدس سره) حيث جمع بين دفتيه ما يزيد على ثلاثين ألف حديث في فروع الدين.
ولما كان لسند الحديث ومعرفة حال الرواة الدور الأساسي في قبول الحديث ورفضه .. ولما كانت موسوعة معجم رجال الحديث التي سطرها مرجع الطائفة الراحل آية الله العظمى السيد الخوئي(قدس سره) أفضل ما كتب في عصرنا الحاضر في مجال علم الرجال.

البرنامج يفتقد نصوص الكتب الرئيسية كالكافي والتهذيب وغيرهما؛ فإنّ الوسائل وإنْ كان مشتمل على روايات هذه الكتب، ولكن الباحث لا غنى له عن مراجعة المصادر الرئيسية بشكل مستمر ويوميّ، مما يجعل التطبيق قليل الفائدة، مع إمكان الاستغناء بغيره عنه.
