东营港经济开发区以科技成果转化为动力，加快推进产业创新创优。东营港经济开发区着力建设科技成果转化中心，为国内应用价值高、市场前景好的化工科研成果对接企业需求、创造中试条件、促成成果转化，把开发区的发展动力从以投资为主转换为以创新为主。加强与中科院等相关单位合作对接，建设好硬件设施，探索打造合作、发展、交易三大平台，打造有影响力的成果转化交易中心。
