어느날 개발자 에디는 이제는 영어공부를 해야 할 때다라고 생각하고 책상에 앉았어요. 토익을 공부하겠다고 마음을 먹었죠. 그런데 책상이 유난히 어지러워보이네요. 그래서 책상을 치우기 시작했어요. 책상을 치우고 토익 인강을 들었죠. 인강을 듣고 단어를 외우기 시작했어요. 왼손으로 책을 잡고 오른손으로 뜻을 가리고 단어를 외웠어요. 아이고 불편하고 귀찮아라. 아직도 이렇게 단어를 외워야 하나? 새롭고 쉬운 방법이 없을까? 그래서 만들었어요.

토익에 자주 나온다는 단어들로 단어 세트를 만들었어요. 한 세트에는 단어가 50개씩 있어요. 캠브릿지대학의 연구 결과에 따르면 50개씩 외우는게 가장 효율적이라고 할것 같죠? 테스트하면서 단어를 아는지 모르는지 알려주시면 앱이 자동으로 기록하고 잘 모른다고 표시한 단어만 알려줘요. 채점하는것 아니니까 솔직하게 답하면 되어요. 

나중에는 인공지능으로 필요할것 같은 단어나, 이거 외우면 600점이 800점되는 단어!도 추천해주고 싶네요. 그런데 저는 토익 공부 언제 하죠? 이제 앱 출시도 했으니 공부하러 가볼게요..
