스마트 상황실은 국가 재난 사고 발생 시 관련 기관 간 상황 전파, 협조·지원 요청 등의 정확한 의사소통을 위해 개발된 국립중앙의료원 응급의료센터의 모바일 메신저 애플리케이션입니다.

스마트 상황실 메신저는 새로운 플랫폼 디바이스 및 사용자 요구사항이 증가하고 업무 IT 환경의 급변에 따른 대응을 위하여 제작되었으며, 대규모 사상이 의심되는 재난 발생 시 즉시 재난의료체계를 가동하여 재난 의료를 지원할 목적을 갖고 있습니다. 재난 의료 지원을 총괄하는 보건복지부 및 중앙응급의료센터 재난응급의료상황실, 현장 출동 의료진, 119 간의 상황 업무 공유로 활용되며 신속한 재난 상황을 공유하는 역할을 수행합니다.
