استنباط الفوائد والخواطر التي خطرت على باله، من خلال ربطها بالآيات، وهو لم
يدَّعِ أن هذا تفسير مباشر لهذه الآية أو تلك، وإنما ذلك ما خطر على باله، وما يخطر
على البال ليس وحياً، وليس صاحبه معصوماً، وإنما ذلك ما فهمه من النص، وطا ا
أن الفهم ليس معاكساً ولا مخالفاً للآيات أو للأحاديث فالناس يتفاوتون في
الاستنباط، وفي استخراج الفوائد، وقد سبقه علماء كثيرون منهم الحافظ أ و الفرج
ابن الجوزي : صاحب المؤلفات الكبيرة؛ فله رسالة اسمها "صيد الخاطر"، وهي
مليئة بالفوائد.
