For people from third world countries, I don’t know how they’re managing. Biggest issue is that even if you need to use the app for rawdah specifically, you may not find an open slot until four or five days later. What’s the point if some people are only on madinah for 1 or 2 days, they would never even be able to book an appointment. The process they’ve come up with is faulty and needs reconsidering. ### 1/5 — Not an Friendly *2023-01-31, version 7.2* When you traveling with your kids, who’s under age. Do you expect kids to have a Mobile phone and their email address? This app should be able allow add family member to one log in, it would makes parents life easier. As usual this type of services expected from providers. ### 3/5 — Can’t reserve for my daughter *2023-01-10, version 7.2* We’re going as a family but each individual has to make his own reservation. We should be able to do it as a family as long as we’re going the same time. Hopefully you fix it. I know this is something and it’s not going to be perfect from the start ### 1/5 — Very inconvenient, very sad: *2023-01-07, version 7.2* I have to get umrah permit for myself and my mother. I created my mothers permit Alhumdulillah and it won’t let me add myself because phone is registered. So I have to buy new phone to get another permit? This is very sad and very inconvenient. They have to make this better. ### 2/5 — Permit for rawdah *2023-01-03, version 7.1* Really disappointed, there is no use of this app . The workers near masjid nabwi decide by themselves who can pray in rawdah tul jannah even who have permit were rejected and app doesn’t work properly ### 2/5 — Many errors *2022-11-22, version 6.9* I missed my reservation to enter the Rawdah. I tried to make a new reservation but the application said I needed to wait a specific number of days before I could make a new reservation!…. I wish you could make more than one reservation at a time. I reserved a time for umrah; but I would like to make another reservation for another day to do more than one umrah in my visit; and the application does not allow that. ### 1/5 — One of the worst possible apps designed *2022-11-20, version 6.9* I’m amazed by how bad this app truly is. They really expect millions of people visiting the country for umrah to actually be able to use this? The app gives an error data not correct when everything is correct. The OTP they send is useless and incorrect. Please do a better job of managing the people who are visiting the house of Allah or hire more qualified people to do you job for you. ### 1/5 — No way to reschedule missed appointments *2022-11-13, version 6.9* There is no way to cancel and reschedule an appointment that you missed. Once you miss it, they put a 30 day calendar limit for the next one. Very inconvenient and heartbreaking for travelers like us who traveled thousands of miles and spent thousands of dollars to make the trip. ### 3/5 — Registration *2022-11-10, version 6.9* Unable to register even after getting 3 different codes. Jazakallah ### 1/5 — App works ok but staff need training *2022-11-09, version 6.9* Many people from third world countries who are either old or poor can’t afford to have a smartphone so I helped couple of this people and opened them account and booked them to visit rawdah. Then I took screenshot of their appointment and sent it to their phone. I even printed some of it. But at rawdah the person in charge didn’t let them go inside since they didn’t have this app on their phones . They were so disappointed and crying since they couldn’t go to rawdah. I don’t know how Saudi Arabia expecting all people to have this app on their phones . Many people who come for Hajj/ umrah don’t have smartphones so what they ll do ? I think staff should be trained and even if people print their apointmenr staff should be able to scan them and let them in. I am very disappointed at this . I hope they fix it soon so poor people could visit rawdah .. ### 1/5 — Absolutely trash app *2022-10-21, version 6.8* Hands down the worst app I have ever used, if you can’t build systems please don’t try because you clearly are doing a horrible job. 30 minutes entering the data in different formats and always getting the same error, incorrectly entered data ### 1/5 — Umrah *2022-10-15, version 6.8* Very poor app and also you can’t log in unless you have A visa while they said you can get the visa electronically. You have big hole in your system, people creates multiple user account and use that to login. Then turn off data to keep session on for other people use the same user account. People book in advance and sell the session, allowing for multiple people to enter. I will like add that this is terrible innovation. Tells me something that is very underlying problem, that’s either class or race superiority. People from less fortunate countries comes these places with their whole life spending and by implementing technology you are defacto boycotting them to enter these sacred places. When did Islam became only for the Elite or for first or second world countries. ### 1/5 — May Allah guide Saudi people *2024-02-21* This is the worst app I've ever used. I've been trying for four days to purchase a train ticket, but none of their websites or apps are functioning properly. I'm baffled by their incompetence, especially considering the significant amounts of money people spend on Umrah and Hajj. It's outrageous how expensive train tickets are here in this holy land, making it unaffordable for regular people. ### 1/5 — Glitchy, confusing and lacks information *2024-02-14* If this is meant to be the main and only point of reservations for all things related to Hajj and Umrah, then this is a pathetic attempt at it. Fix the app. Fix the glitches. Allow women to register for Rawdah. Provide additional information. Fix the glitch with dates shown when you reserve a spot for Umrah. This is a once in a lifetime event for many — it’s the “kingdom’s” responsibility to make it as seamless a process as possible. Id give it 0 stars if I could. ### 1/5 — To call this app garbage would be generous *2024-02-09* A vestige from the Covid era that serves little purpose any more. 30 minute time slots to pray in the Prophet’s mosque with no clear instructions on where to go or what to do. People scanning the QR codes don’t even know how to use the app. Somehow, they’ve made efforts to advertise the app in hotels but can’t even place a picture of the app logo where lines need to be formed, etc. To top it off, one is forced to wait 365 days before they can pray in the Prophet’s mosque again. What a way to discourage pilgrims. ### 1/5 — Rawdha appointment Unfair for all muslims *2024-01-13* Its seems like this app system is designed to prevent people from visiting the Rawdah. Only shows 2 months and all unavailable appointments. They had many security alerts in the past few years in this area. There was even a bomb blast outside the Rawdha area a few years back. So its clear they designed this ridiculous glitchy app system to prevent most people from entering the area. For all those who are able to get this app and appointment to work its quite a matter of luck. For anyone intending to visit Rawdha I recommend showing up to the gate and see for last minute cancellations. All intentions are fulfilled by Allah not the Saudi government or masjid security. I really hope they removed this permit system soon. Its unfair for the elderly and illiterate and children. They are the most deserving of this area. May AllahSWT organize the management of the masjid Nabawi and remove the people who are intentionally making it difficult for Muslims to visit the Rawdha. May AllahSWT always allow the ummah to pray in the Noble riyadhul Jannah near the sacred Rawdha Mubarak of RasulAllah ﷺ ameen ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2023-12-27* I never do reviews but I am beyond belief while trying to register an account. Putting in the information correctly receiving the codes and it still says incorrect information, how is that possible? Just by reading previous reviews this is an ongoing issue for over a year now. The developers have to fix this because there is no one to contact with dumb problems like this. I contacted the customer service and they said they add new appointment’s every half an hour which I constantly checking however nothing showing. This won’t work especially for elderly people they need to figure some things out for people who don’t use cell phone or not good with technology. It’s worst nightmare for people who are not familiar with technology. ### 1/5 — Poorly designed *2023-04-02* This is a terrible app. The only thing worse than the app is the using the actual website. Poor design, glitches all the time. Half the options when filling the app are greyed out / locked. It does not easily allow to switch options or make corrections. Hence each family member looking to do umrah has to download this app. Tried to select an appointment for end April and it shows blocked even though 01 Apr to 21 Apr time slots can be booked but not after 21 Apr which makes not sense. I was trying to login to my account in the USA and it was showing nationality as blank and giving me internal errors. Spoke with support and they told me it only works in saudi and it works 100% now. Just got me permit. OLD: Nationality list is blank, cannot choose or type anything to login to my account. Need to login asap I even tried contacting on Twitter but no response at all. ### 5/5 — Umrah on the go , Dawud zayd USA *2021-12-23, version 5.1* The app worked well for us , it allowed me to pick times that was , good for our times , I heard people couldn’t log on , or buffering . For us we got on with no problem, and we didn’t need a SIM card from Saudi, we thank Allah that we were allowed to visit His house..
