水经注APP是一款面向公民个人参与身边江河湖海监督管理，分享涉水旅游信息的移动平台，是水经注江河湖海信息资源大数据平台的子系统之一。它具有实时水情上报、水游分享、共享服务发布等功能，方便公民个人与涉水政府机构、企事业单位、非政府组织等的交流和互动。水经注江河湖海信息资源大数据平台是中国科学院空天信息创新研究院水利水务遥感团队基于移动互联网、大数据和云计算技术，设计开发的一套无缝连接公民个人、江河湖海涉水管理部门与企业、以及科研院所技术团队的信息资源大数据平台。平台由一套移动端APP、桌面端三维信息化软件（3DViewer）和大数据中心（BDC）三部分组成，具备国内外卫星遥感影像资源实时订阅、生态水文参量在线反演与分析、水污染和水灾害信息预警与推送等功能，可作为水利和环保部门一体化信息收集、存储、分析和管理工具。
