This didn’t used to be a problem, but English isn’t allowed when I try to verify my ID via my phone number. My name is registered by the government in English; it wasn’t my choice. So even though I’m a longtime resident of Korea, I can no longer use the app because I’m not Korean. Technology, which is supposed to simplify processes, is often resulting in certain people being excluded.
